First time at this location with my wife and I. We were traveling with a one night stay in Salem. We've visited Outback Restaurants in many locations in the NW so we had good expectations from this location as well. Absolutely dissatisfied with most parts of our meal. My wife ordered the 6oz sirloin with grilled shrimp and I ordered an 8 oz sirloin. First my wife's baked potatoe didn't come loaded as ordered. Her steak was very good but the shrimp was overgrilled and tough to eat. The remainder of her meal was okay..not great as usual. Second my steak was very under cooked...rare not medium rare as ordered. My steak was over seasoned so much the third bite taste like I was eating straight powered seasoning by the spoonfuls. I asked the waitress to return my steak and grill it to medium rare. She didn't come and take from me for at least 10 mins. By this time I had finished my entire meal by the time a person came back with my original steak. He didn't introduce himself. I had to ask who he was. He very softly said in a crouched position...I'm the manager. Didn't give me his name. When the regrilled came it also taste like another reseaned piece of meat. This steak was the worst ever I've had in all my years atan Outback Restaurant. Then we were given the bill...over $74. I expected at least some discount for the poor kitchen food that was not really edible. Oh by the way our blooming onion was over battered over cooked and very greasy.

Always enjoy the food at Outback - been going since Lancaster. This might very well be the last time. Sad, as that means I'll need to find another Bloomin Onion and I think that'll be most difficult. I just don't feel like waiting an hour to get my food, having to stop wait staff to get what I need and especially asking the wait staff assigned to our table 2-3x for anything. This was not a case of short staff either. This was disorganization at its finest.
