“My exploration to find the best hot Eggnog Chai in town continued with a stop in at Gathering Grounds Roastery. This was another wonderful business that I'd not been to before so it was a treat to peek inside and find a warm, inviting environment. They have quite the menu of beverages and food items; bonus they are super friendly! Watching my beverage being made, it was also clear that they take real pride in what they do! The drink had an extra depth to it with a fresh cinnamon flavor blended into the eggnog that was really enjoyable! Was tempted to try a delicious looking scone or breakfast sandwich, but resisted this visit - a treat for next time! If you haven't checked out Gathering Grounds, you're missing out too! They have a drive-up, or you can pop in and pick something for takeout! <3“

“Came up there for a three day retreat with a big adult group, we head rented many cabins almost a year in advance. We had one of the newer cabins, a one bedroom queen with two queen beds up in the loft. Beautiful cabin fully accommodated. Except for food bring your own😊 Check in was easy and smooth our reservations were made almost a year in advance. We were constantly reminded don't take anything from the cabin 🤔 we got it the first time we're just here for some R&R we're not thieves, They have a store where you can buy fishing accessories, chip, soda, beer, even a hot slice of pizza which isn't bad. You can also rent kayaks and pontoon boats, however, one very very short haired young lady working in the marina store and another lady waitress working in the restaurant, both seemed to have nasty attitudes and that was the consensus through out our group. I don't know how but we encountered a bat in our cabin up in the loft during midday, we flagged down a worker he came with a piece of cordboard and a bucket, made a suggestion to use a fishing net so he returned with two fishing nets. This resort not only has cabins for rent, there are hookups for campers and trailers and also a place for tents, highly recommend making advance reservations for cabins. They go fast, the prices are a little high even at the end of the season.
We had 4 people to a cabin splitting it, so it wasn't too bad.
There is so much to do here at lake of the woods. We explored the many hiking trails, most of us brought our own kayaks. You can rent kayaks, or pontoon boats or bring your own boats. There's great fishing. We got to see trout being delivered into the lake. They even have a nice restaurant with amazing views of the lake. We didn't have the best service, even with a dinner reservation for seventeen, we had to wait over 2 hours after ordering our food to get our meals and no, the restaurant was not busy. You are allowed campfires in the designated places at your cabin. Highly suggest bring your own firewood as a bundle of wood is $8. There is nothing like having a beautiful potluck dinner with friends and watching the sunset on the lake, roasting marshmallows over an open fire. Overall, this is a beautiful resort to visit, even if it's just for a day trip, we'll be back again next year doing our fifth annual trip.“

“The food is so good and great service. Went to breakfast this morning with family. Food was great as usual. Katlyn was our sever to day and I must say her service was extraordinary!! I work in a local motel and give lots of food recommendations to guests. This is the only restaurant that guests say they go to multiple times during their stay.“

“We’ve been here multiple times alone and to meet friends. We always dine in the bar. The staff is wonderful, attentive & so friendly! If you are looking to save a dollar or two - come and order off the Lunch Menu or in the afternoon for the Happy Hour Menu. The main menu is always available. When you have a choice - order the shredded beef. Our favorites: Enchiladas ale Crema - chicken enchiladas covered with sour cream & Parmesan cheese. Street Tacos with Asada, onions & cilantro, Chile Colorado, Burrito Express, shredded beef flautas, & chicken tortilla soup! If the salsa with the chips is not hot enough for you, they’ll make something hotter! Needless to say, we’ll be back.“

“Always consistently great food. Usually order a carna asada burrito and it's the same great taste every time. A lot of good taco trucks in klamath but costs here are about 50% less than the other taco trucks for the same portion size. The lady that's usually there is always super nice.“

“I have come back a few times over the years but I live far away. I lie awake at night thinking about their burritos. I try to think of reasons I would need to go to Klamath falls for their burritos. I tell everyone how much I love this truck compared to anything in Medford I have tried. I can't finish a full one and am so thankful when I go back to the fridge and have more to eat.“

“Look, I'm talking about fresh made pizza dough and toppings attached to a beautiful lake and cold beer and a wonderful and hard-working staff. During weekends it can get very busy and you might have to wait so go jump in the lake until it's ready. My favorite is the lake of the woods with white sauce.“

We had the Western Burger special - the burger was perfectly cooked, the hand-dipped onion rings were amazing quality (thick, crunchy, scrumptious!) and the side of Navy Bean Soup was super savory and full of flavor. “Ordered the bacon bacon burger. Very tasty and the fries were great. Ordered an amber ale with was also very good. My wife ordered the hummus plate. The hummus was overpowering with garlic for me and my wife and she likes garlic. Pretty noisy. Great selection of their home brewed beers.“

“I was there the day before yesterday. The dog jumped up and put its paws on the counter and the owner immediately pulled it down. The worker came around and gave the dog a treat, pet it and then went behind the counter and washed her hands and then put on fresh gloves. The child was in a highchair and wasn't bothering anyone. The entire environment was so pleasant and friendly not to mention extremely busy. The crew handed the crowd with grace and a smile.“

“This is a small family restaurant. They don't have a lot of the traditional Spanish decor, but for what they lack in decor they more than make up with the friendly dispositions of their staff, the great hospitality and wonderful service. They were very considerate of our dietary limitations. The food was absolutely wonderful! The portions were great also. We both took 1/2 of our food with us. My son had the Asada burrito and I had the Borrego, a wonderfully sauced slow cooked lamb shank that surpassed my expectations. The margarita was great too.“
