“Stopped here on a road trip for coffee. There was a number of cars waiting for the drive-up window and one man declared it was well worth the wait and the best coffee in the state! There is a walk-up window as well. I ordered a Mexican Mocha and asked if it could be made ‘half sweet’, as I’m not fond of overly sweet drinks. The barista did it spot on and it was delicious. There’s also a McDonald’s across the street for a bathroom break, if needed.“

“Stopped in for a harvest host overnight in our RV and had an excellent evening. Briana the bartender was friendly and attentive, their brewmaster, Marco was informative and friendly. We chatted about the future of beers and the interesting work they are putting into their new releases. The food was good and the view was excellent! Definitely worth stopping in!“

“On a recent trip to visit my family, my wife and I decided to try the Mt. Shasta Ranch. I grew up in the area and have always wanted to stay at the Bed and Breakfast. We have to say it was amazing. David and Kris treated us to a very memorable experience. From the time we booked the room till the time we left for home we felt very welcomed. We loved every minute of our time there. The rooms were very charming and super clean. Davids knowledge of the property and its history was very informative. Kris was super helpful from reserving the room to the wonderful breakfast we enjoyed each morning. When we head to visit our family again the Mt. Shasta Ranch will be our go to spot for a warm and welcome place to stay. “When I was on vacation with my husband, we were trying to find a good coffee spot other than Starbucks. Looked this place and up and decided to try it. We’re so glad we did. The coffee here is excellent, not to mention the lady who ran it was very sweet. On top of that, the selling point for us is that it’s veteran-owned. If you’re looking for a place that sells great coffee while supporting a veteran owned business, this is the place for you. 20/10 highly recommend. Wonderful little coffee stand.“

“Looking for a latte, pastry or a pet friendly hotel, well Finlandia is the place for you. I have passed by this hotel over and over again while in Mount Shasta because I thought it was a hostel until last week. I Yelped looking for a place to get a latte near my husbands job site and Finlandia popped up. Hmm... I met him there and I was greeted by guests walking their dogs, a kennel with some lovely pooches, mountain bike storage, hammocks, lots a parking, and of course a cafe. I was able to order a delicious latte from a friendly barista and sit down in a nice quiet sitting area with tables and Wi-Fi. The barista is the one who gave me the rental info on the cute property. The hammock rooms are perfect if you have kids.“

“My husband and I were visiting family over the Thanksgiving break and we were so happy to stumble into this fun bar. It was so welcoming and festive. I ordered some decent red wine at a good price and my husband order a rum and coke. Then we played a few rounds of of ping pong. If you're looking for a cozy and unpretentious place in Mt Shasta, this is it.“

Very kind family that owns the business and it seems like a labor of love. Check out their street-side chai and samosas! Highly recommend them if you’re in Mt. Shasta :)“

“Absolutely great food here. We went for breakfast today and it was fantastic. It was so good we even went back for dinner tonight. The Szechwan wings were crispy on the outside, moist inside, and the sauce was amazing. My girlfriend had the Pad Thai which had the best flavor. I lived in Thailand for five years and had great Thai food, but this Pad Thai was extremely flavorful and unique. Definitely eat here while in town, you’re missing out if you don’t.“

“I'm personally confused as to the overall star rating of this restaurant (it should be higher)! My husband and I had a wonderful experience here. The food was fresh and flavorful, along with the margaritas! I got the combination plate with two shredded chicken enchiladas, while my husband got the combination plate with a shredded beef enchilada and chili relleno. We both were a part of the "clean plate club". There is really nice outdoor seating, and the inside atmosphere has a rustic, western type feel with authentic music playing softly in the background. The staff was very friendly and accommodating- very genuine and helpful. “One of the few places that doesn't turn calamari to rubber rings in Siskiyou county that I've found and that speaks volumes because this will be number 2. All four steaks were perfect and the service was great! The artichoke dip was on point as well, and the minestrone soup could have been homemade in the best possible light.“
