What a pleasant surprise, this place is a diamond in the rough! There are some unique Mexican restaurants out there, but to find one this awesome in a small town such as this is quite rare! This was a little gem in La Grande! The food was amazing! Homemade salsas and fresh house made chips. Our server was fast and so helpful as she answered all my questions so I could get my gluten free meal. There were also many gluten free options and vegetarian refried beans! So good!
I worked in the area years ago and the service ,food and atmosphere was above excellent! Gentlemen created me at the door...then after ordering he was who cooked the food ....and when I told him how delicious it was and thanks to the owner for real Mexican dishes...he just smiled and said thank you...he was also the owner...have not seen a place operated like that in yrs ! Retired sattv installer!
