Mamacita's International Grill

Had a great business dinner at Mamacita’s during the week. The food and service were great! The hamburger I ordered was the best and I will be going back again when I’m in the area.

We’ve now had two not so stellar experiences at Mamacits’s. The first was a Fish and Chip night. We arrived early knowing that F&C was the special, by 6:20 we were told the special was sold out. Understandably so. We order something else from the menu. When our dinner arrived (not what we came in to order) the wait staff passed by carrying five orders of F&C. That table had been seated 20 minutes after us, during our salad course. They ordered F&C and were served F&C. When asked, the server told us that when we ordered the kitchen was behind with prep of fish, it takes a while to batter. We would have waited. The other night we arrived at 4:30 when they open. We were seated, it the took over 10 minutes for someone to come back to our table (empty handed) for water and a drink orders. That took another 7 minutes (sprite and water). Our waitress took our food order of Bleu NY Steak and a Pepper NY Steak. When the steaks arrived the waitress popped by and asked how they tasted? The first bite was good however it was the second bite that I noticed they had switched my MR for my husband’s Med. my steak had gristle running through the middle of it, which made it too tough. My husband’s was tender, but too rare for him. A good waitress would have noticed that my steak was piled on my plate to the side, sliced but not eaten. Had she returned to our table… If the restaurant was busy it would be understandable, they were not busy, there were plenty of empty tables. Our plates were not removed from our table, we did not receive a check until we went to check stand. I wrote a napkin note with a sharpie and placed it on my steak about the steak. I hope she shared it with Joe, he was in the kitchen that night. Unfortunately, we will not return.

I called today to get an order of drunken pasta to go. The girl that answered the phone was rude, disrespectful and should not be in the hospitality industry. I used to really like their food.... I will not step foot in this place.

The steak sandwich was a bit messy to eat but worth it. We both really enjoyed it.

Felt that the food was average, at best, at a fine dining price.

Always enjoy our visits and this is the first time I have any complaint. When we received our bill there was a surcharge added to the total. When I asked our server I was told that they got a new system and now pass the charge for credit cards on to the customer. Not a fan of this but I see how it might help keep from raising the prices. What I was really bothered by was the fact that there was nothing on the menu or the bill that stated there would be an extra charge for cc use. I frequent many small businesses that charge this and they all have posted signage and tell you when you pay.
Just feels shady to me to not be advised before hand.

We had gone to Mamacitas quite a few times a couple years ago and LOVED it, but after our experience today we will likely not go back. We waited 15 minutes for them to seat us, or even acknowledge us just to be told that it would be an hour and a half wait for food. I am aware that they have tables down stairs but from what we could see, the seating outside and upstairs was not full. Seems to be going down hill.

The food was very tasty. Loved the framed vintage travel posters.

Excellent food, delicious and served promptly. Really enjoyed our meal and drinks! Service was friendly but unfortunately our server wasn't as attentive as she could have been. I flagged down another waitress to order drinks and was told our server would get it...well, if she was around maybe, but we hadn't seen her in awhile so maybe teamwork... maybe new staff or an off night. We enjoyed ourselves and it's a nice place, would definitely go again.

Delicious food and amazing service.

The food is really good, almost like super-chef status. Staff are very attentive and it is a chill, kinda swingin' vibe going on. Additionally, a couple of the servers are so, very talented. :)

Nice super busy restaurant on a Wednesday. We had Pinot Grigio and a Whiskey Sour and both Pasta Alfredo and the Pasta Pesto. I loved the Alfredo sauce but would have appreciated a few more tasty mushrooms. Our server was very busy but still dependable and upbeat. Would definitely come here again if we were passing through town. Very obvious why this establishment was recommended. Thank you for a wonderful end to a crazy day. ?

Parking: Room for a truck and trailer is always appreciated
