I live in Hillsboro with probably over 100 Mexican food trucks and restaurants and feel confident saying this is the best Mexican food I've ever had. Everything is top notch and grilled to perfection, the salsa bar is the icing on the cake. I could seriously drink all the salsa they serve. If you haven't tried this place you are missing out on this one of a kind gem.

“We went here when it was Lago De Chapala and didn’t have a great experience (food was meh). But on a whim, we decided to stop by tonight after dropping our daughter off at the football game in town. We ordered the chimichanga and carne asada burrito, and they were absolutely amazing. Nothing like the photos in the older reviews here. The majority of mediocre/poor reviews are from when the business was Lago De Chapala. It’s under new ownership and we can tell! Looking forward to returning!“

“This place has the BEST Mexican food! I was driving past and seen it so I had to flip around and go back to try it. I stopped in around 2-3pm on a Saturday and ordered "The Godfather Burrito" with steak in it. He asked if I would like it red or green sauce, I chose green cause that's how I roll.. The man was nice and they accept card. The second I ordered he said "Thank you, just give me a couple minutes", I heard the steak start sizzling on the grill, I heard him start chopping up fresh onions, cilantro and avocado slices and he made me the most delicious burrito I probably ever had in my life! I took it to go and headed home. He made the burrito ALL STEAK then he topped it with green sauce, shredded cheese, onions, cilantro, and avocado, by the time I made it home the cheese was melted perfectly over the entire thing, it also came with a side of rice and some refried beans with cotija sprinkles on top. The first bite out of the burrito I mainly got tortilla, cheese and green sauce because the burrito was big, the first bite was no meat but the heat from the green sauce was nice I thought "Man that's good but kind of spicy I hope every bite isn't this spicy or I'll never make it through"... So I took the second bite but this time I made sure I had lots of steak and all the rest of the ingredients all in one bite, OH MAN!!!!! The steak was PERFECT! Super juicy steak, I don't know if this guy sprinkled it in HEAVEN but the seasoning was just right! Once I got past that first bite of tortilla the entire burrito was action packed!! It was loaded up with a nice portion of steak and once I started getting all the ingredients together in each bite the spiciness basically went away because with all the other delicious flavors all fighting for attention it evened itself out, and the time's it did get spicy again, the beans and rice were the perfect combinations to cool things down. The burrito, beans, and rice was a perfect meal for me flavor, and the right portion to fill you up just right, but not over do it!
I must say this man is definitely "THE GODFATHER", and I will be back!

“Okay when you make a chili Riano it is not an egg dip I made it such a big deal an egg wash over the pepper it makes a bad or golden crispy Brader every Mexican restaurant I go to here in Oregon it is a basically a pepper omelette it does exactly what that is a pepper on it I'm going to go get some peppers later I'm just going to go ahead and make some real chile rellenos and I will bring one by not out of being rude but out of the kindness of my heart to give you some knowledge of the situation I'm from New Mexico all right where we are the the birthplace place food we don't mess around with our Peppers anything but other than that the pepper omelette is good good food good people good customer service clean know the complaints but the chili relleno that we've got to change this chili relleno thing“

“Unbelievable. A hidden McMinnville gem. In business for 17 years. They make their own tortilla chips which were unlike anything I have ever tasted. Light, warm and crisp. The pork burrito was plentiful (2 meals for an old guy), very moist and tender. Rice and beans were home cooked, fresh and delicious. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. Because of the high ceilings with exposed beams your conversation stays at your table as there is no echo. Prices were very reasonable. You may sit inside or out. Go!“

We always order take out, and part of that usually means less food. But that NEVER happens with El Primo. We’ve had dinner at the restaurant too a few times. And they’re wonderful. The inside is bigger than it looks. And the bar side is super cozy. 100/10 recommend!“

Cold shrimp coctel needed some Valentina and Maggi. They didn't skimp on the shrimp. Sadly, they committed the ultimate sin (for me) they did NOT devein the shrimp. Ugh. I make my own coctel so would probably not get another one here.

“We dine at Chipotle often, and I have to say this was the best experience we’ve had in a long time. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly, efficient, and welcoming.

We were visiting from out of town and stopped here for dinner, and we were genuinely impressed. The bowls we ordered were generously portioned, with fresh, flavorful ingredients across the board. Pricing was also fantastic compared to other locations we’ve visited.
