Love this off-the-path hidden gem. Fantastic drinks (clearly I’m a matcha fan), cozy vibe with comfortable seating, used books for sale, a game shelf, wonderful staff, delicious fresh-baked pastries, ice cream, and Cathedral-roasted coffee beans! The owners are genuine, kind & welcoming; the kind of business you want to support. Great place to meet friends, get some work done, or treat yourself to a peaceful afternoon. We are lucky to have this treasure in Scappoose.
Great location, great owner and even greater coffee. The prices are on par with the industry standard but I feel you get a better quality cup of Joe from here.
I love the neutrality. I’m somewhere in the middle and it’s nice to have a place not blasting there beliefs in your face. Will be stopping by this weekend.

Cathedral Coffee is a beautifully decorated, clean, and aesthetically pleasing coffee shop with a modern feel. The interior is naturally-lit, spacious, and comfortable, making it a great place to meet friends or focus on work. The staff and baristas are consistently described as friendly, warm, kind, personable, and helpful, often providing excellent service that includes small, appreciated touches.
The drink menu features outstanding lattes, tasty black coffee, seasonal options, and creative creations like the iced Beach Brew—a cold brew with coconut syrup, half & half, and lime zest. While a Macchiato order once resulted in a good but incorrect caramel-syrup drink, experiences are generally positive. The coffee shop also offers a nice assortment of teas and baked goods, such as scones, though these can be fine but nothing special. Parking is ample. Many reviewers highly recommend it and would return.
