Sometimes you just need a good, old-fashioned deli sandwich. And that's exactly what I found at Great Earth Cafe & Market in Madras. No bells and whistles, just simple, tasty ingredients on fresh bread. Plus, they have delicious fresh baked cookies. Not a gourmet experience, but it definitely hit the spot and won't break the bank.

Stopped for coffee and pastry. Would absolutely return for breakfast or lunch. We watched beautiful salads and sandwiches go by. They had a decent wine and beer selection and even a hard liquor bar. Friendly, clean. Avoid the chains, support locals !!

Wow!!! In Madras??? This place?? Wow Madras, you’ve grown up!! Finally a cool shop where you can get lunch and stock up for the road trip, picnic, lake adventure, or whatever suits you. They’ve got all the basics to make for a great afternoon and they’re close to a dispensary so this little spot in Madras is pretty cool now.

4 star for food only because they had only couple of options for vegetarian/vegan audience. Service was beyond 5-stars as the chef at the restaurant was very helpful and took all the precautions for our vegan requests & requirements.Vegetarian options: sandwich & a burger
