The bartender could not have been more attentive and helpful, telling us where to go to have a good time in Madras. Thank you for an amazing experience. PS loved the patio.

No-frills, solid bar. Bartender is a badazz and takes care of you. Locals were chill and friendly— one got a little rowdy but the keep runs a no-nonsense bar and put them in check. If I pass through again, I’ll be back!

Had a great time in this little hole in the wall. Surprisingly great burgers and the bartender (Box) was funny as hell and very attentive. If you are looking for some fancy PC bistro or gatstropub this is not your place, but if you in for an old school bar and grill, scrappy servers, and a chill game of pool, you have hit the mark. Loved every minute of it!

Wonderful bartender. Great atmosphere. Cheap drinks. Plus the food is surprisingly good, especially the burgers!

This is as Madras as it gets. Small town bar with a small town feel. Bar tender works super hard to meet everyone's requests. The food is good and the drinks are not watered down. You choose the music, play some pool or do a little video gambling. You will meet locals in this bar. We were there on a Saturday night and it was the perfect size group. Not to big you can't enjoy yourself not to small you can't have a good time watching people. A must stop.

Katie, Phil, Penny, and I visited Madras Pub for some Sunday football. We stayed for twenty minutes, give or take. That was more than enough time wasted at this doesn't-deserve-a-single-star establishment. Here's our abridged list of grievances:*Dirty table and utensils *Dirty and ill-equipped toilets *Impolite and condescending servers*Servers with poor hygiene *Servers referring to us as "honey" and "dear"*No nutritional information listed on the menu*Food not what we ordered *Food did not taste as described in menu*We had to ask three times for water *Tables too close together (felt squished)*Way too many drunk patrons using foul language *Vomit right outside the front doorWe understand that when you come to Madras it can be slightly low brow. Nothing wrong with that. But today's football lunch was a terrible experience, and the pub manager and staff were all to blame.

Uncaring staff. I can’t imagine the service here is great.
