We have visited the Winery many times while visiting in Manzanita. The atmosphere is great & we enjoy the ambience of the fire pit area with a glass of wine. However, the last visit we had we decided to get a bottle of wine to go to enjoy on the beach at sunset. We decided on a 2022 Pinot Noir. I have to say for $50 this is one of the worst Pinot Noir’s I have tasted in the PNW. I have had better two buck chuck from Trader Joe’s. I am disappointed because the wine we used to enjoy here years ago was leaps & bounds more enjoyable. At this price point I can’t fathom buying a glass let alone another bottle. I’m sad to say I’ll most likely just visit the Little Apple (local grocery store) & purchase a $15 bottle that I’ll actually enjoy. I hope the owners can either step up their efforts in creating more palatable wine or lower the price to an acceptable level.

Nice cozy and relaxing place. Awesome little rooftop patio. We had drinks and an appetizer. Besides wines they have beer, which I had, my wife had a kombucha. Outstanding wait staff! Oh, and they are dog friendly, we had our dog with us on the rooftop.

Consistently good vibe with friendly service. All year long, the Winery crew know the locals and long-time weekenders and ensure they have a great experience. Some complain about the meager food options, but the Winery focuses on the pours. I’d love to see a chicken satay or steak bites added to the food offerings but I realize the margins probably aren’t there. We love this place!

Highly recommend a visit to The Winery at Manzanita. We visit 3-4 time a year and have never been disappointed. They offer an excellent choice of wines, you should try the sparkling Rose, a great selection of nibbles. Always have wonderful service, most important they are very dog friendly. Have you seen their logo!! We will be back in mid July. Looking forward to trying their tasting rooms in Bend and Portland later this year.
