If you've ever wondered what regret tastes like look no further. Our food came out so fast there was no way it was cooked fresh. We ordered white rice, but the restaurant boldly reinterpreted that as dry, sticky fried rice that tasted like it had spent the previous night under a heat lamp.
The teriyaki chicken had the texture of a deflated bouncy ball - rubbery, bland, and undercooked. The mac salad was a true plot twist: soft vaguely plant-flavored, and featuring a surprise cameo by peas. We spit every bite out. I have never spit food out before. I prayed for my stomach before leaving to find another restaurant.
If you're looking for adventure, mystery, and gastrointestinal suspense, this place delivers. Freshness, flavor, or anything resembling Hawaiian food? Not so much.

Hands down the BEST Hawaiian food in Yamhill and beyond. They make everything from scratch. The fried rice is often made with sausage, bacon, pork belly, and other chunks of meat. You never know what you get! Pairs well with their Kimchi

The food is absolutely AMAZING! Great service, fun atmosphere, and decent prices! The parking isn't the best but it's downtown so I don't expect much with street parking. 10/10

Called, asked to be on hold for a minute, and the phone was set on the counter for seventeen minutes. Enough time for me to go to Walgreens, drive to third street, find parking, and walk in, while the whole time listening to maybe two orders. Walked in to no customers in line, and only then after driving all the way over finding out its no cash today randomly. Great way to end the work day.
Ate here plenty of times. Lived in Hawaii for over twenty years. The food's good but come on with the service..

Really good value for your money. Really appreciate they have a Gluten Free Plate, my wife is gluten intolerant, yes that's what its called in the menu. It is pulled pork , rice and vegetables. It is the only gf item, but it is really good and huge serving. I mean like dense plate, enough for leftovers for us. I had loco moco, which was rich in taste and dwfn comfort food. Great value compared to most places in 3rd street which tend to be a little pricier - many locals/ college students picking up take out meals. Great service.

This was not the best experience. Besides sending me home with the wrong order, when I came back, the order was still incorrect and now cold. The char sui pork was very fatty, and served in lumps. The Kalua pig came in two different shades which was different.
JPs rice never disappoints, and the kimchi was pretty good. Overall, not planning on returning.
