If you are craving a sandwich, burger, or salad with a refreshing beverage, this is a place for you. We ordered the prime rib on a Saturday night. It was flavorful and moist. Our CC only critique is that we would have liked a little more variety on the menu. The service was excellent at the pub and cellar
The staff were friendly and helpful. We were there during the lunch menu hours on a weekday. Hard cider was a new experience. We liked the blackberry and the pomegranate flavors. The food was good, and plentiful. IF you have desert, we recommend the pecan cake with a rum and raisin sauce!
Whether you're in the main pub downstairs, or the rooftop bar a few floors up, the menu is pretty much the same. You know what to expect from the McMenamins kitchen, although none of their signature pizzas are on offer here, it seems (no Hammerhead BBQ pizza for me, today!). Both the food and the service are solid: we enjoyed a surprisingly delicious Seven Castles Stockpot (a sausage, bacon and cabbage stew over sweet polenta) and a couple drinks, while moving between locations...
