We always look for a good from scratch bakery when traveling. This one is a gem! It did not disappoint on all points. Friendly woman greeted us and served us patiently answering our questions. We had a bakery similar to this one for 6 years. We know what it takes to make it work both in the front and back of the house. We bought two loaves of bread. Gorgeous and deliciously made. But the marionberry pie is out of this world!!! What?? So so good. Whoever is making this bakery happen please keep it going. It is a treasure. We say this as we are licking our pie plates.
Great food! Their bakery dessert items are addicting! I always cave in when picking up my lunch order and add a never disappointing treat from the pastry case! The service is great and I really appreciate the quality of their food and the attentive staff.
I've been coming here for years and love their sandwiches and many of their pastries. Their sourdough is top notch.
This was a nice Surprise great food we decided to dine in it was a little crowded for space but the place was very cute and is loved no doubt because it was very busy
Service great, lattes okay, pastries very substandard (we tried 3 after sending an uncooked one back). We wanted to like it- but clear there pasty cooking abilities are in crisis.
Always loved this place but it isn't the same. The selection of baked goods was limited, the croissant was served cold & they didn't offer to warm it up. Coffee was lukewarm & the girl neglected to say the cookies had coconut in them. My friend is highly allergic & had to throw it out - we asked about the ingredients. I understand the lack of workers, which has impacted many businesses, leads to customer dissatisfaction. I will try them again just not sure when. Truly disappointed and I'm sad about that.
Great half way stop to the coast. Good coffee and the Italian pastry was awesome ?
Nice people, great service! The fresh bread is amazing, and the 2 egg breakfast hit the spot. Highly recommend!
My husband and I just moved to the area and we've been here twice already. I would have to say this is my new favorite bakery. The prices are reasonable and the food is amazing. On top of that, the service is super friendly and helpful. If you haven't been here, you really need to go. We've had the cupcakes, the lemon tart and several other pastries. All amazing!
Went for breakfast and only left ourselves 2min to order before they wouldn't take any b-fast orders. Wife suggested the place because of the biscuits and gravey which they were out of so she got a egg scramble dish with salad on the top didn't finish,(don't recommend) and I didn't see anything that resembled a regular breakfast besides toast or oatmeal. So being pressed I didn't eat there but found a good place close by.

I visited during a very busy time but the bagel with cream cheese I ordered had probably a tsp of cream cheese on the bagel. Not near enough lol and the vegetarian chili was inedible and had no flavor whatsoever. Nice staff though!
As a local and GM of a restaurant I rarely leave bad reviews, but today was warranted. My husband and I wanted breakfast and try to support our locally owned small businesses. I told our server that the coffee was cold this is a small restaurant the server proceeded to the open kitchen and asked the chef if he thought it was cold, he proceeded to call us “Starbucks tigers always wanting a fresh brew”, not only could we see him but could hear the whole conversation and we’re looking right at them. When ordering we inquired if they had fresh squeezed orange juice and were told it wasn’t fresh today. About 20 minutes after the coffee comment he loudly says “ Sarah is it fresh squeezed?” By this time my husband had found a hair in his food and was ready to depart. I stood at the counter waiting for a box while both the server and Chef looked at me and turned away to walk further back into the kitchen. After seeing this my husband decided to speak to the woman who was working the register whom recognized us as customers who frequent their establishment, she informed my husband that the chef was also the owner and apologized profusely. She has always been very kind and hospitable and offered to refund our breakfast. We didn’t take it as things often happen in the industry that are out of our control, but because of the blatantly bad and lack of respect for his customers we will no longer frequent this establishment and will endeavor to make sure it’s not on our list of quaint places to visit while in town. Addendum : Owners response directly reflects the reason for the review and shows his true colors.
Great customer service and wonderful selection of baked goods as well as coffees and teas! They aren’t following the mask mandate so I guess it depends on where you stand on that on the safety and comfort level of going in. I wore mine and left after ordering. ?
Counter and kitchen staff were not wearing any masks or face shields. While I enjoy supporting local businesses, I can’t support those that think they are above the law or chose to put their customers at risk. Sad to say I won’t be back. Plenty of other options in Mac for good food.
While I enjoy supporting local businesses, I won’t support those that think they are above the law. No one in the kitchen or behind the counter was wearing a mask. No one likes wearing a mask but we do it to keep people safe. Plenty of other options in town - Mac Market has way better bread, sandwiches, pastries, and everyone there wears a mask. Definitely won’t be back.
