After a long day at work I just wanted to try a new tasting room. I was the only person in the tasting room. I inquired if I could just have a white flight, the answer was no secondary only so many bottles were open. So I asked if I could just enjoy a glass of white wine, and decompress from my day. I was told they only do tastings, no single glasses. A tasting is $40, waived with $120 wine purchase! Seems a bit steep to me!! In California vineyards are pulling up their vines because of decrease in wine sales! How sad. I guess Eyrie Vineyards feels they are worth the price.........i will not return
We had an amazing visit and tasting, walking the Outcrop and Eyrie vineyards was an experience I’ll always remember.
Eyrie is a MUST visit. The wines are phenomenal in a way that can only be achieved with the rich history they have. You won't be disappointed!
Popped in here on a random weekday to find they were fully booked - all good. Despite that, Easton was super welcoming and let us try a couple wines free of charge. Super tasty wine and super friendly staff, I definitely recommend stopping here!
Absolutely the best! Stayed and learned so much. Outclassed everything else in the area.
This is the kind of wine that haunts you for the rest of your life. Tim Kane our host was excellent. Every wine was superb. Jason Lett has a wonderful talent for making terroir driven wines. These are honest wines tasted in a place that allows the focus to remain on the wine. Absolutely splendid. A life changing wine experience. I will never forget this. And Tim if you read this, I am coming to pick grapes next year!
Make an appointment! With appointment you get a group tour and informative tasting. I would suggest this as one of your first winery visits because of everything you'll learn. We had a family member of the winery go through several wines while the group was seated around a table with some snacks in the middle. He explained the area, the soil, the history, and the differences between the taste of their wines. This is a must for your first trip to Willamette Valley!

Great Wine
Fun to get a tour of the winery. Information provided by our host was very good and entertaining. It was good to get more history on the winery's origins and vineyards than I had previously heard in the prior tastings. As a club member I was already familiar with the wines and some of the history, but found this additional information fascinating. I'm glad that you are considering drop-in options in the future as I'm always interested in doing a tasting to remind me of what treats I have in-store with my cellared wines. And having done the full tour once, I might have time for a repeat.

Really great host providing all the history on the winery. Learned so much about Oregon wines and how the Eyrie became what it is. Plus the wine is probably the best we had in Oregon! Highly recommended!
Warm welcome by Jason Lett, the best winemaker in Oregon, fantastic journey through the Pinot Noir, Poulsar and Chardonay. Unique skill to make Oregon wine ready for aging decades... very true, I tasted and I Head the privilège to buy wines from the library : 80´s, 90's and Earl y 00's. Outstanding souvenir for a Wine lover coming from France. Thanks Jason. Eric and Patricia
We had a great visit to Eyrie. Our host, Tim, provided a great explanation of the history of Eyrie and we tasted some fantastic wines. Definitely recommend including Eyrie in your travel plans to the Willamette Valley.
This is a relatively expensive wine tasting experience. We did enjoy several excellent wines. Our host was very knowledgeable about the winery, it's history and it's wines. However, since the winery doesn't have a tasting room at the actual vineyard the experience itself lacked the feeling of a winery that we value.
The winery that started the Oregon wine industry is still a benchmark for great wines. Both their reds and whites are exceptional, and the reds in particular are world-class. Our tastemaster was extremely well educated as well as entertaining, really adding to the enjoyment. Most impressively, they poured a 1995 pinot noir that was AMAZING! If I hadn't watched him uncork the bottle, there was no way that I would have ever thought it wasn't a well-aged premier cru Burgundy! Outstanding!
