Kind people making delicious baked goods and perfect espresso. Mayan Mocha. Try it. All I can say.

Overcooked, and Underserved.
My wife ordered a Fall Spiced Latte with added pumpkin flavor, but instead recieved a regular latte with pumpkin flavor. After fifteen minutes or so I was able to get the waitresses attention and let her know my wife recieved the wrong beverage. I was informed it was what was ordered (although we ordered the same drink and mine was correct), and we were given a plastic cup with flavored syrup to add to the drink instead of simply replacing it. The biscuits were hard and burnt on the outside, while the inside was still uncooked dough. When we checked out we were not given an itemized tab and received no receipt, so it was hard to tell what item was incorrect since we were overcharged.

The food is not good enough to wait 50 minutes from the time you order your food to the time you get your food. I only recommend this restaurant if you are not hungry.

I’ve heard nothing but raving comments about Buttercloud and also see the good reviews online. We had high expectations and were extremely disappointed. It was busy so understandable we had to wait for a table. They didn’t ask if we wanted inside or outside. They just sat us outside which we didn’t want because it was cold and had a small kiddo with us. We dealt with it because we didn’t want to wait longer. Food took an extremely long time and arrived cold. It took about 20 mins just to get the tea I ordered when we first sat down. The Benedict (which the server said is the best on the menu). Was hands down the worst Benedict I have had in my entire life. This is no exaggeration. I had to pull out the bacon because it was very undercooked, rubbery, slimy and just plain disgusting. The hollandaise sauce had zero flavor, it was chunky and gritty. The biscuits were blah. We were all absolutely starving and waited so long I decided to just pick through it instead of sending it back. Which I would have had to get up and hunt down the server for because he never once came to ask us about our food. Not once. When we got the check I told the waiter about the bacon and showed him the undercooked, rubbery pieces on the plate. He did not look surprised whatsoever and was very nonchalant about it. He said sorry. We can comp you something from the bakery. I said okay, thank you. The price was almost $70 after tip (which I was definitely contemplating on but felt bad so we tipped regardless). Portions on all my family’s plates were very small, like child portions. We all were terribly disappointed and will never come back here or recommend anyone.

I normally really like this place but today we had such an awful experience. Nobody really seemed to care that we were waiting on food for over a half hour just to be told they were out of what we ordered. There was more to it than that. it was such an expensive disappointing experience.

Waited 30 minutes to get a table and a glass of water. They were not busy at all. Counted 7 employees working while we waited for someone to come talk to us when we first got there.. after being sat, not a single employee stopped at our table to take a drink order or food order. We drank our waters and decided to leave. I would understand if they were short staffed or busy. But that did not seem to be the case at all….
Left hungry….

The service is sloooooooooooooooooow. It’s mostly biscuits and eggs, and doesn’t need much cooking, it should be quick. The food is decent, but not worth the wait. Not the coziest atmosphere very chilly for a sunny day and they need at least one more server. Also, damn these biscuits must have gold in them, because they are expensive! Wish we could say better things but we are starving and still waiting for our order. The old location was better.

Like to try new places, went there this morning, we very slow to get seated while several staff were just standing around, there were open tables. When the food arrived it was pastry that was very undercooked, staff vere visibly upset with each other in front of customers, our waitress was very rude and refused to bring back a receipt after we asked for it. And yes, regardless of perception of her service a 15% tip was left. After 10 minutes of waiting we just left.
It just was not a good experience. I will not be back and would not recommend.

Sad that even being cash payer loyal to local joints doesn't even garner a gracious honoring of customers.
Cake in the display had a LABEL stating per slice price and "Whole/$35". At first I was told, "Can't sell you the whole cake." Then with a slight indignance was told they would. But for $40. After speaking with the manager they simply said, "Nope, sorry, we need to update our labels." Taking my business elsewhere. Get it together and don't forget your customers are what makes you!!

Great little breakfast place. We sat on the patio. Service was a bit on the slower side, but that was fine for a Sunday morning breakfast. The food was fantastic! Pictured is the Buttercloud Benny. Hubby had The Works. We would visit again when we're in the area.

I went to have breakfast with my family (4 adults & 2 kids), the guy at the front was super nice and we didn’t have to wait too long to get our table because it was not busy. We ordered drinks from the guy that seated us but the girl that brought them was not very nice. My mom asked for cream for her coffee and she looked so annoyed and never came back with the cream. We had to ask our waitress for it. I went to the front to ask for the wifi password and this same girl that brought our coffee told me the password with an annoyed tone which made me feel like I was an inconvenience. One of the younger kids was indecisive about what to order so we ended up ordering just two scrambled eggs and a sausage patty after everyone else already got their food but it took 20 minutes just to get 2 scrambled eggs and a sausage. The food was good but it doesn’t make up for the bad service that my family and I got in there. We were made to feel like we were an inconvenience by coming to eat here. Definitely not coming back.

Went to buttercloud with such high expectations, with a name like buttercloud, you would expect a large light buttery, fluffy bisquit. Instead, I received a hard, cold bisquit, the holindase sauces was gummy and broken, and the whole dish was cold. The service was terrible not once we were approached to see how our meal was, and never was asked if we wanted refills on our coffee....the price for what we received was pretty high, we don't mind paying good money for good food and service. I will not be back with my family, and I would never recommend this establishment to any of my foodie friends....
