This is our second favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. The food is fresh. And the staff are very nice. However, the flavors are bland. The Mongolian Beef needs to be spicy. Even with asking for it to be hotter, it bland. The lo mein noodles in their photo are thick, but what you get is a very thin noodle. What brought me here is to let the owner know that their crab puffs have NO crab flavor. It's basically cream cheese and nothing else. Please add some imitation crab...
Ordered take-out at the front reception area during dinner time, the boss lady was impatient, unfriendly, short, flustered. Not a good first impression of a well reviewed restaurant. The food was nothing special, actually bland tasting. No desire to return here.
Great food and friendly service. One of the things I look for in Asian or Mexican restaurants is variation of flavor in different dishes, as opposed to places where all the dishes seem to taste the same. Chen's definitely delivered!
