Everything was great about our visit to Elmer's! I highly recommend the potato pancakes. They are excellent! They serve Ivar's clam chowder which my husband ordered. He said it was very good, too

Very good food. There was only one waitress and she was very good. I took my granddaughters. They enjoyed the activity books that were provided.

Dietary restrictions: Food took a long time to get to the table. it was overcooked, eggs Benedict, should have had a runny yoke, hollandaise sauce was too runny and white; should be yellow. Avocado was under ham, should be under eggs. The meal was cold.
Another person's bacon was burnt and cold. Food took too long to come, the restaurant was nearly empty, yet food was cold and over cooked?? Bad, bad, bad cook and waitress.
The waitress was disconnected, disorganized etc.
Not a quality experience. Not at all like your north Elmer's.

The burger was good, but what made this place great was our server Ty. He was fun and friendly and made us a smoothie to go.
I really appreciated him!

Food was very good. Coffee so-so. Time to wait totally fine. Server very nice, but a bit over the top. I think we heard, "It's my pleasure, of course!" about 6 times.

Came here while visiting family in Oregon, there were about 12-15 of us in total. I ordered the French Toast with sausage links which took a while to get there as our waiter messed up my family's order. But once it finally arrived it was well worth the wait. The French Toast was thick and buttery, covered in powdered sugar, and they were not stingy with the portions by any means. My family was shocked it came out on two seperate plates. I would have took a picture but we were in a rush as we came here to eat one last time before our flight. I highly recommend this place if you're nearby

Restaurantji Recommends
as first time customers we were pretty dissapointed. it wasnt the food, the food was great. and service was okay-ish.
it was more so the fact that we as customers had to ask for them to fix their mistakes.
i know restuarants can and often are fast paced and high demand. coming from someone who worked in food service also. hopefully next time will be a better experience

They don’t have a host. Get ready to wait upwards of 20 minutes in the entryway waiting for a waiter to notice you are there. The door chimes when walk in, then you wait and wait and have to ask around to get seated. It’s ridiculous. The food is fine but you are gonna WAIT.

Call before going.
NOT OPEN
It would be nice if they indicated this online.
Didn't eat at hotel in Mt. Shasta where we spent the night on our way north. Looking forward to eating at Elmers again for breakfast.
The Elmers in Grant's pass last week was amazing. Potato cakes and strawberry French toast.
We stopped on our way through town and we're told closed as we walked in.
Only a small sign on door to indicate closed.
A few cars and trucks in parking lot for remodel or somthing, somthing about a change over. Not sure if that means different owners or what.
Hope that's helpful to you future traveler.
