Absolutely fantastic fried chicken. The sides are all delicious, especially the greens! Best I've had since leaving the South. The owner is super nice and very attentive as well when dining in. We will be returning regularly.

Chicken was crispy on the outside but super juicy on the inside. The mac & cheese had a nice heat level to it but nothing that would prevent you from eating it. The green onions were a nice surprise too. I liked how they threw in two complimentary hush puppies for every order. Lastly the rice, red beans and andouille sausage was amazing! I'm definitely coming back here.

We wanted to love the chicken sandwich after all the great reviews but it just didn’t do it for us. The chicken breast was much too thick and dry and bread was very hard and just cracked when you tried to bite into it. Overall lacked flavor. Mac n cheese wasn’t great, also didn’t have much flavor. The service was very friendly and the restaurant is beautiful, but lacking a few things. The ability to have a glass of tap water without having to buy a bottled water would’ve been nice. Salt and pepper shakers would’ve been nice to help season the food, but they didn’t have any. They did provide a dish of salt when we asked.

Best fried chicken I've ever had. Collard greens with hot pepper vinegar were terrific. And where else can you get red beans and rice with andoille sausage? Oh, and the beignets - out of this world!
I cook a lot of soul food. Now I don't have to! The food is delicious, the staff are fun, and the food is consistent which is a big deal to me. I know I'm getting a great meal every time. The chicken is crispy and juicy. Get there early and be at the lunch rush!

The chicken sandwich, red beans and rice, and hush puppies were all awesome, the service was friendly, and it was super clean and pleasant in the dining room. Even had cool music. I was the only person there during the lunch hour though, show this place some love!

Can't believe it took me 7 months to know this place was even there.. amazing food.Fried chicken moist and flavorful.Greens were my favorite. We had hush puppies which were the best hush puppies I've ever had. The beignets tasted just like the ones from New Orleans.Thank you to the owner and his mother for the conversations and the exceptional food definitely definitely will be back.
