After enjoying my many meals at Hen and Flour, I have to say Southern/Creole food is definitely my most desired food to consume. The portions and flavors are phenomenal. I dine in very often and I’m always satisfied and pleased with the wonderful hospitality and service provided. 10 outta 10, hands down best chicken I’ve ever had. Their red beans and rice are to die for!

I live in Klamath Falls and every time my husband and I have a doctors appointment in Medford, this is our go to place! The menu is small, which is a must for me lol, and we have had everything on it. The fried chicken is crispy on the outside and perfectly tender on the inside and don’t get me started on how good the side dishes are. The red beans, and rice is a solid A+ and the macaroni & cheese is an A. The hush puppies that goes with the chicken is always crunchy on the outside like the chicken and tender on the inside, pear is really good with their special hot honey. Lastly, don’t forget about their dessert, beignets. Do Not leave without trying those, they are Heaven 😋😋 It’s two brothers and that own it and do all the cooking and if you’re fortunate enough to get there on a day when their mom is there, your whole day is complete! A must place to go if you’re hungry and you wanna bring food home for dinner

Genuinely the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Ever since I visited Medford, I've been searching for a sandwich that is as tender, juicy and crispy as the ones here. I have been relatively unsuccessful. I look forward to visiting Medford again one day just to have one of these chicken sandwiches again.

Great place for lunch or dinner. Their fried chicken 🍗 has got to be the best in southern Oregon. Comes out HOT, which i just love! The macaroni and cheese is a notch above most others, they add some spices and bread crumbs ( very light...perfect)

We wanted to try this restaurant because we thought hush puppies and collard greens are so good when we've had them in NC. We were all 3 disappointed in our meals. We all had chicken. I had a leg and it was ok. Another friend had the strips and they were very dry. We had Mac and cheese and it was not very good either. Was very dry instead of creamy. The hush puppies were very dry and just tasted like dried out cornbread. The collards didn't taste anything like I've ever had. They were just blah...I ate the piece of chicken. My daughter ate her chicken thigh and our friend ate a small portion of her dinner. We were all disappointed and would not recommend. Felt like it was a waste of money. They need to get different recipes for the collard greens and hush puppies. We weren't asked if we liked our food or we would have told someone in person. I would not recommend this restaurant unless improvements are made. Linda

I was hoping the food would be good because I love creole food but it had no seasoning, very bland chicken and mac n cheese, and the red beans and rice was sweet not smokey with a nice spiciness. Even the hushpuppies were flavorless and dry. The atmosphere was fine as well as the service though. They just need to learn how to season their food.

If you are jonesing for some seriously good fried chicken, then you need to visit this place. The owner is friendly the chicken is very good. I especially like the the Hush Puppies. Update: we brought my sister in from out of town and she wanted to add, it was the Red beans and rice and the best with the fried chicken. 😋
