“Moved to G.P a year ago. We popped over the mountain to Merlin for a motorcycle ride today. We decided to stop for lunch at Iron Ore in Merlin ~ glad we did. The food was well worth it, plenty, and seasoned superbly! Busy little local spot! We will be back for more food, a beer, and some pool next time.”

“They recently added a bunch of new items to their refrigerated and frozen section behind the check out area. Lots of really, really good stuff now. Sliced cheese, lunch meat, hummus, Greek yogurt, Boston Market frozen entrees, Amy's frozen entrees and much more. They also added items to their grocery section. Great to have these options in lil ole' Merlin now.”

“I asked for a whimsical, earthy looking cake for my daughter's 28th birthday and Beef Cakes did an outstanding job! The cake was moist and delicious, bigger than I expected, absolutely adorable and extremely sturdy. I had to travel with this cake from Grants Pass to Humboldt County, California. It was packaged well for transport, I put it on the floorboard with the air conditioner blowing and that cake arrived exactly like it looked when I picked it up. We loved the detail, the mushrooms, trees, vines, it even had books included on it. So perfect!”

The spicy pork was tender and perfectly seasoned, and the fresh vegetables went really well with it. The kimchi and bean sprout sides were also fresh and tasty. Everything was nicely presented, the portions were generous, and the restaurant felt clean and welcoming. A wonderful Korean food stop — we’d definitely come back!”

The chorizo tacos are absolutely incredible and full of flavor, but honestly, I have not had a single thing on the menu that I did not love. Every visit reminds me why I keep recommending it to friends. What truly makes this place special, though, is the heart behind it. The couple who run the truck are amazing. His energy is vibrant, happy, and completely contagious. Sometimes I stop by just for the good vibes alone because it feels like getting a little boost of espresso for your mood. If you are looking for delicious food, genuine people, and an experience that leaves you smiling, this is the spot. Highly recommend anytime.”
