About The Fried Spot

The Fried Spot is a food cart that offers a variety of hot and crispy dishes, known for their delicious taste and careful preparation. The menu includes chicken strips, fish, zucchini fries, and chicken wings, which can be enjoyed with the cart's signature Tot and Jay sauces. Customers have praised the gluten-free and dairy-free options, especially the fried seafood and wings, which are so good that even children with no dietary restrictions enjoy them without noticing they are wheat or milk free. The four-piece chicken is very lightly breaded, making it not greasy and very juicy when ripped open. The Mac and cheese is flavorful and highly recommended. Some customers have enjoyed fried Halibut and collard greens, saying the food is better than many downtown restaurants, with the owner and chef earning praise for their quality. Service is friendly and attentive, creating a satisfying dining experience despite the cart not having seating, as customers stay in the parking lot while ordering and receiving their food. The cart has a window at 6 feet height, and orders can be placed from cars, making it convenient and enjoyable for all.

The food is so good! Fresh and delicious! You gotta try the banana pudding, the cod, the tots, the greens. It’s all so good! And a great crew of people

I went there on a tuseday afternoon at 7:10, I rang the ring doorbell they have way high up on the window, and waited a good minute before the lady at the window opened it.we greeted each other with a hello as I was beginning to start my order of tots and Mac n cheese. Before I could finish my sentence the lady cuts me off and refused me service because “I’m me.” She continues to tell me she “is the manager and if I need to I can take it up with the boss.” I was flabbergasted....read full review

Well that was the most uninviting and weird situation I ever experienced. Saw the open sign as we drived by and remembered on the way back. So we stopped. Got out and stood there next to the worker for about 5 minutes... nothing... not a hello. How ya doing? Or even eye contact. Just continued to mess with an outside little light. But definitely talked to his buddy driving by about what's cracking after work. Save your time and money. Keep driving.
