Mt hood meadows is not managed like a skiers mountain. Instead, it seems like out of touch fair weather skiers in Portland make the call and at just about every turn, it's the wrong one. For just instance, and there are many more, It's the earliest opening in 15 years, there's plenty of snow to be in operation, so they do a "preview weekend" and then shut down Monday-Wed until reopening for the season on Thursday. Sunday night -Monday night calls for cold temps and heavy precip which would kick off the season in a grand fashion. Instead, they close it and reopen on a Thursday when the forecast calls for temps rise with heavy rain. This resort now caters to weekend Griswold's rather than its true user groups. Powder skiers! Meadows needs to treat every powder day like its the most important part of the equation. Because it is!

Skiing with my partner and 9 year old- getting off the lift my 9 year old took me out and we both went down hard. I got pretty beat up by his ski edges, we both struggled to get up. The response of the nearby employee was to yell at us to “hurry up”. Really appreciate their attention to safety and commitment to understanding, patience and empathy.

MHM cancelled the ski bus for my son due to the Omicron surge. This is fine, however, they will not refund my money, $ 617! I have called and emailed every day with no response. This is unacceptable! I paid for the ski bus back in October. Please someone get in contact with me asap to rectify this situation!

My family loves Meadows and has always chose it over other Resorts because we have small children. However, this year I am unimpressed. Parking lots are full, your required to use shuttles if the main lot is full and cannot even drop off at the main lot. The shuttles are packed full like sardines and masking is not being enforced by drivers. We traveled to Meadows over Christmas break and rode the shuttle and now have all tested positive for covid despite the fact that our family was consistently masking.

Prices were lower than I expected for being right on the slopes. Food quality was great!

Very disappointing. Burger was raw in the middle. Asked for fries and did not get any. Reuben had so much sauce the bread was soggy. The water was good.

My wife took a lesson as a first-timer snowboarder. I went as a medium-level snowboarder, comfortable on blue or black diamond trails. We both had fun for a day.
