Kendra's River Inn Food & Lodging

We stayed the weekend in their River View room while we were at the coast for a wedding. Kendra was a great hostess. Warm, fun, and inviting. I appreciated her attention to masking and COVID restrictions. Made us feel safer there. While there, I needed to do a presentation online, and their wifi was excellent. Extremely good service. The staff treats you like old friends. The food was amazing. We had never had steamed clams and we are so glad they encouraged us to try. My husband had the fish and chips while I had the salmon caesar salad. We were both members of the clean plate club. Every bite was delectable. A tantalizing experience for our taste buds. Wonderful food. I had a cheeseburger and the burger, fries, and sauce were amazing. It looked a bit deserted at first but we were assured once the food came out. Servers were super nice. Would reccomend if you're visiting for a weekend at rockaway or Astoria.
