Love this place! The owner is very personable and ensures that every person gets personal attention AND the wine, from the rose to the deepest red is excellent! If you like good music and a calm ambience this is your place!
Visiting in Willamette Valley in mid April for a wine tasting trip and ran across Longplay winery. As visitors we did not know that most wineries in Willamette are by appointment only, but when we arrived at Longplay they gladly let us in for a tasting. A bit of info on Longplay: Todd Hansen the owner purchased the Jacob-Hart vineyard in 2004 and renamed the vineyard after his daughter Lia. Wow! What an incredible experience. We were hosted by Todd, the owner and winemaker. We were the only guests there (which is too bad because this place is great) which made it feel like a private tasting. The tasting fee is a reasonable $15 and we were given a complimentary cheese plate. The wines are all at great price points. Collectively, our party bought almost a case of wine.
