“The food was OUTSTANDING! We are visiting Newport for a week and this was our best meal by far! My husband got the fish & chips. I fish was fresh and the portion was huge. The fries are thick cut and seasoned well. Delicious. I ordered the fish tacos. Fresh corn tortillas, huge amounts of fresh grilled fish and delicious slaw/ cilantro cream sauce on top. Best fish tacos I have ever had. You gotta try the pickle fries, too!“
“Great little place. Showed up here on a Friday night as other places around town were closing at 9PM (we came in December). The place was great. You know that ratty hoodie you own that is kind of beat up but isn't? That one that is just super comfy? That's Bier One. We were in the mood for the following: - Play some cribbage (check!) - Get me a dessert beer (check!) - Some place mellow (check!) - Clean & friendly atmosphere (check!) Honestly, not sure if it was because of who was bartending (12/29) but dude was super friendly, music wasn't blaring, and honestly, every town needs a place like this. “I could not write this review quick enough. This place is 10/10. The food was very fresh and prepared relatively quick! Full of flavor and large portions. They also had a large selection of beer and cider on tap. Service was great and staff was friendly and tentative. Absolutely recommend.“

“The chef here is so creative! They make their own mustard, it's excellent, I wish they sold it bottled. Husband and I have tried different dishes and all have been good like fish n chips, burger, salad, quesadillas. Pretzels and pickle chips are great starters. The wait staff is friendly and attentive.
