It has been the better part of a month since I’ve seen dry land. Those days seemed to blend together. I’m back now.
Numbed by the beauty and power of the open ocean. The clouds, the sun, speak to you without saying a word. The ocean rages, then calms. You find yourself becoming one with it all. Unsure if your temperament is cause or effect. Sights of sailboats and trollers, kissing the skyline,
amidst a dream. Or perhaps a Homer Winslow, only to be dropped inside; realizing not even he, could do it justice. Hundreds of dolphins following the boat, chasing cotton candy skies over the horizon. Is it dawn or dusk? Flurries of tight lines, and we’re making money. If I could bottle it all up and sell it, I’d be a millionaire tax free. But what would I do? Buy it back, cause you can’t beat West Coast Country…
But oh, how I long for the warm embrace of a woman. Alone on the high seas, recalling the girls, the women, I’ve loved over the years. Though it seems so far away now, becoming difficult to tell if they’re memories or dreams. Really, what’s the difference? I see them. Walking , counting, with men less virtuous than I; and yet, it seems fitting. The lowest hanging fruit appears ripest until picked. Only then do you realize it was soft, riddled, and lacking knowledge of any sort. A world domesticated by order, driven by love of comfort, or perhaps a distraction from the opposite ; creates dogs from wolf’s. I’d rather be a wolf of my own accord. Seldom leaving a stone unturned in pursuit of what I seek.
So far, to no avail, only dust in my eyes. But now, from failure, I find myself no longer hastily searching, knowing it’s here, quietly waiting for the washing waters to still, so our reflections become clear. Enough so, to start our own pack. Crystallizing a love that’s true. The creation of new life, and spending the rest of ours fostering it, so one day they can do the same. The only pursuit which renders anything of lasting truth.
You know, It’s good to be back, I was craving some Chinese food out on that boat. As was I, my grandmothers macaroni salad. I’m sure she’s at home right now with my aunt, possibly with a half batch in the fridge. I’ll stop by later and pay them a visit. Find out for myself. Anyways, today I’m having some fried rice and general tsaos chicken. One of my go to dishes here at the Kam meng. So delicious and nutritious. It rivals the panko breaded tuna I wrestled from the jaws of a blue shark while at sea. And their tea, better Kam Meng and try it. Well I made it home with both hands, and a healthy appetite. The food and staff here are wonderful! God bless. Try Kam Meng today. I know you won’t regret it. Don’t forget to stream my newest single, West Coast Country. Available on iTunes and all platforms.

Was greeted as soon as I came in and told they couldn't take card but there was an ATM I could get money from,so I mean that's fine, food came out crazy fast! I got combo P with sauces on the side for the sweet and sour chicken (8 bites),pork fried rice, broccoli beef ,also added crab puffs, just unfortunately everything was bland. Very fast and nice customer service though.

Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, the stag was flexible but everything was just ok. Nothing was delicious. It was fine for a road trip needed food and they were open later than everything else. We had kung pao, sweet and sour tofu, lo mein, fried rice all of which did not taste similar to what we had in paste. Wait staff was not attentive and hard to find. I also thought it was weird that most people were there for video poker

Food was amazing, people are so nice. Looks a little iffy on outside, but it's worth the stop. They have Lottery machines also.

This is the worst take out Chinese food I’ve ever gotten. I’m so hungry and so sad. My sweet and sour sauce is so gelatinous it’s basically one solid piece.

5-14-25.. Server was polite. Not friendly. Food was just ok. Wife had spicy green beans. Lots of onions which she likes. Ordered hot. Not really too hot. Sauce was dark and Salty. Who wants Salty food? I ordered Lo Mein Plate. I guess ok but not special as it claimed to be. Just ok but we did finish it. Restaurant is not attractive, hot inside. Booth uncomfortable. Sorry but we won't ever stop here again. I did notice regular food customers and there is a gambling room . The men using gambling room have to walk right by our booth staring at us and our food. I can't say that was good.

Food was good.

Awkward service. Not particularly clean or charming place. Food was good but wouldn't go back due to overall experience. Think most of their business is from video poker, but have only visited once.

Ordered the Mongolian Tofu, Sweet and Sour Tofu, Veggie fried rice, and Veggie chow mein. I liked the chow mein but the fried rice was largely bamboo shoots. The sauce on the main dishes was very liquid-y and sank to the bottom. Even when I got sauce on the veggies or tofu it was pretty bland. Tofu and veggies were cooked well though
