Came to Newport specifically for the first weekend of SPD events 🍀 The place was very busy with a live band, which was great to see, but it was a bit confusing for a first-time visitor. I wasn’t greeted and waited quite a while before realizing there was a seating list and another bar area. Once seated, the food was good but a little overpriced. The pub clearly has a loyal local crowd, but a little more guidance for newcomers would go a long way.
I wish I would have tried this place earlier but I may have never went anywhere else, it’s that good! Amazing food , atmosphere , and service. I highly recommend and will be back as often as my bank account and waistline allows.
This is a must visit restaurant. The food is always great and the atmosphere is warm and gives you a feeling of an Irish pub in Ireland.
