We called first just in case. Staff very helpful on phone. We ended up having black bean burger no cheese or sauce, replaced sauce with bbq, added avocado. Salad with red onion, pecan, avocado, arugula and cranberries, vinaigrette dressing.

We had a awesome time on this trip!
Julia in the upstairs bar was great and the food was amazing! Downstairs we talked with Charlie over a few beers and he was a wealth of Rouge Nation info amongst other things in the area.
It's really changed since a few years ago and we'll definitely be back!

I’m gonna start from the bottom up.

Coastie, who put your shorts in a twist? You speak a big game. But, geesh, you must be insufferable in person. Do you talk to people like that in the real world?

Miko, you aren’t going to change the menu. But I appreciate you lobbing that grenade at them. Good show!

Quinn, you are a hoot! You got some good phrases. I just wonder what you do when you are left alone, in silence. I suspect you repeat your reviews to yourself, do a big chest thump, and then pet your cat.

Sara, thank you for your (food) service. Seems like you might be having some kid issues.

Most recent visit was last week. The staffing issues are, well, an issue. They have a full area downstairs to seat customers. They don’t. So, you wait. Thing is, once you get seated it is a fine enough experience. Servers range from interested to almost catatonic. The menus is, well, average. The serving sizes are pretty good for the price. The views are of the harbor and bridge. They can’t really change that.

My group of six had a good afternoon here. Rogue beer is Rogue beer. This location is not a sacred temple. They are looking to make money. And you should understand that before you step in. If you want to whine about ‘authenticity’, you might need to start rethinking your POV. With craft beer in the skids, supporting some of the OGs makes more sense than whining like you are a homebrew knight. But that’s the rub, right? You can complain all you want. And it feels good. Oh so good. Hope you are enjoying the rush.

Still a good place to stop by.

The food was delicious!
The best fried oysters in the west coast! Light, fluffy, and crispy, deep-fried oysters with cocktail sauce! Truly amzing.!
The 2 poor young men hustling to seat and feed the busy crowd! Thank you for your patience with a hungry crowd! Hope you get some help soon!
Happy New Year!

My own opinion - This was delicious, interesting and funny. A truly worthwhile stopover for a well-kept freshly tapped drink. Put yourself trustingly in the hands of the service. The atmosphere when walking through the Kessem is great. Thanks to the entire team and hopefully see you soon

Stopped off to get some dinner and a beer. Not sure what was going on super slow night (1 full table, then us) but we were ignored while 2 staff members kept running into some side door off the side of the restaurant. Maybe sat there for 15+ min till someone came and got our drink order, then like another 20 before they took our food order. So weird…

Food was mid at best, and most likely the last time we stop in, another brewery in town seems to care a little more about patrons.

Rogue was one of the O.G. breweries that originally got me interested in craft beer, so I was really excited to finally visit in person. I was not disappointed! The vibe was really cool. Authentic, eclectic, and kind of humble for being such a worldwide name. Beer list was direct and had all the core beers and some limited run stuff. Beer was great as usual. The food was delicious! Huge portions too so bring an appetite. My only regret was not making it here before dark because it looks like a really cool view out on the water. Hopefully I'll make it back one day!

Great beer and food; but understaffed and in high demand. Plan to spend 2 hours for food + drinks. Beers to appease any beer drinker, happy I came.

Staff appears to be nearly entirely made up of gormless, charmless teenagers who communicate in single-word utterances. Can’t emphasize how bad the service is. I ordered coffee and was given creamer but no sugar and no spoon. Just common sense stuff that got missed left and right.

The food is mediocre. The place coasts on a decent but not fantastic view. Like their beer, I’m sure it was greater one point, but has been aggressively mid for years. This place sucks. Go somewhere else.

Awesome!!!!!!

This used to be our favorite place when we visit yearly. We would go out multiple times. We were surprised by the new menue when we arrived this year. The new menue was quite disappointing. We probably won't be going back unless there is another menue change. On the bright side the beer is still so awesome and delicious.

Gorgeous ocean front views from the dining room. The food is delicious and I highly recommend having a drink or two off their incredible drink menu. We had an IPA flight and peach berry vodka soda. Excellent service as well. Couldn't be happier.

This place is an imposter. This is no longer the Rogue. No Rogue Revolution. No cool shirts. Even the beer tastes like corporate BS now.

I had to edit my review and drop my rating. The chowder is the only thing that's good.

You got rid of the spicy black bean dip, buffalo chips, the Kobe Bleu Balls, Mahi Mahi, and more! Beer Cheese Soup is now a special?! What happened to Rogue?

Now, the food is all stuff I can get anywhere else. It's nothing special. I can buy the beer or liquor from the store (even though it all tastes like a stiff corporation with no love involved).

This is no longer the Rogue I loved, as well as what long-time locals loved. We've stood by you since the late 80s & 90s, and you lost the majority of us.

The atmosphere isn't the same, and the best employees left because they, too, were disappointed in the direction Rogue was headed. There isn't even a Pint Club anymore because local members stopped coming!

I'm not sure who's brilliant idea it was to change everything... but you're losing a lot of the locals, the ones who keep you alive, they aren't too keen on going anymore. Please go back to the old Rogue. The old menu. If your cooks can't handle it, hire better ones.

If you want to be some corporate brewery, then stop acting like you're special. Good job on becoming a basic restaurant with nothing special to offer. Even Mcmenamin's revamped menu kept fan favorites. You? You went for burgers and chicken strips.

The people that work there make it worth going!!!

It’s not what it used to be. The charm is gone.

We asked for approval and gave advance notice to Charlie Branford the GM that we would like to come celebrate there after our beach wedding as we used to live locally and loved that spot. He said that it’s no problem they get walk-ins with bigger groups and that he would notify the staff that we’d be coming. He was nice, everything seemed great!
I don’t know if it was because the gratuity would already be accounted for (20% per check) (group of 10 people) but the service was bad. We felt unwelcome from the moment we went upstairs. Food was okay but the “ambiance” was uncomfortable. The staff was hanging over the partition just watching us making us feel like we need to hurry up and leave. We didn’t even get a congratulations. Don’t come here to celebrate, you’ll be sadly disappointed.
