Sat there for 10 minutes before anyone came to our table. Only one other customer was there. The bartender didn't acknowledge us, was doing something on his phone. Website said happy hour started at 3:30, we were informed when the bartender finally got to our table that it didn't start until 4. Can't rate the food, we left after one drink.

The Sandbar & Grill is a local dive right smack in the middle of the NYE beach strip. Came in for tacos and wasn't disappointed. Great variety of street taco style tacos available. Service is a bit awkward and not the quickest I've ever experienced. Like so many dives there is a background aroma of urinal cake. You gotta take the good with the bad.

Local dive bar. I must warn you. If you are a NON smoker try to avoid this spot. They have no ventilation. Smoke lingers everywhere. Staff is nice, people are cool.

Went there last night and the lady at the bar looked at our IDs for an extremely long time lol. She never asked us what we wanted to order or if we wanted drinks. Just seems like a place for locals to be obnoxious, also someone brought in a service dog that looked so miserable because the music was so loud. I felt terrible for doggy. Don’t come here especially if you’re from out of town guys they are rude
Walked in the door and the music was so loud and when I went to the counter to inquire about the food and how to order, the bartender had to yell and repeat himself three times and I still couldn’t understand him. We walked out and found another place to eat.

The bar staff was rude. They took my card for the purchase of two beers, didn't have me sign a receipt. Turns out they opened a tab with my card with out asking. Then after the $25 I owed went through, they added an $8.50 tip for themselves. I feel like they stole from me, as I didn't authorize a tip sign a copy the receipt nor was I asked if I wanted to start a tab. Will never go back. And plan to report them!
