Hey, this Mark. I am a real person and this is an honest review. I first discovered Sharks years ago on a camping trip on the Oregon coast. They were on the waterfront loop in Florence then. I visited every time I was in the area.

One day I went there and they were gone. Heartbreak. I just rediscovered them up the highway in Newport. I made an hour drive to eat there now.

It’s the same owners, same great food, and same friendly service. If you’re ever in the area and love sea food, visit them. You’ll thank me later!

If I were ever on Death Row, I would ask for everything on the menu as my last meal. If you visit, tell them Mark sent you.

Very homey nautical diner experience with big flavor and Carin the waitress/bartender/hostess with the absolute mostest was fabulous.

Super cute spot with DELICIOUS seafood. We felt well taken care of and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

I have been visiting Sharks for over 20 years and it never fails to impress me. All of the seafood is so fresh and they never skimp. Their Ciopino has massive chunks of fish and crab. The Gumbo was the same, so much fish!

We love the newer location; the building has a cute atmosphere and is super clean. The waitress/owner? was so stinking adorable and you can tell she loooves what she does.

You will not regret coming here!

We love this place! Thanks for creating such a great atmosphere and quality food. It’s not greasy or fried, just tons of top notch seafood cooked in old school recipes. Sharks is different, and we love it.

Service can be very slow when they are busy, but it is always worth the wait! We go here at least once a month.

Lovely place. Service was fast and fun. Food was flavorable and tender. The beard was unbelievably soft. I could not wrap my head around how good the beard is. I believe it is a family run business everyone is involved and working towards the goal of a successful business. Definitely worth the money and trip.

Picked up take out to eat in our hotel room after a long day. So glad I did! The hostess is a absolute GEM. Not only did she make me feel at home while I waited for my food, but she was just so sweet and fun to chat with. If got back just to experience her hospitality again!

The food is also absolutely delicious. My husband's chiopino was delicious, my linguine was also extremely tasty, and my son inhaled his burrito.

Even the salad was exceptional! Will definitely be back next time we're in Newport.

Incredibly warm and friendly service. Cioppino pasta, garlic linguine and steamer clams were all delicious. Loved that they cook with so much garlic.

Amazing place! The cook and waitress are the husband and wife Owners! Their son also works there. Beautiful family business! AMAZING FRESH SEAFOOD!

Fun kid friendly atmosphere. Wheelchair accessible. I didn't love the cioppino as I read the reviews but that might be my preference so I didn't mark them down for that. Service was good. Husbands food was excellent. Loved the cocktail. My only complaint/feedback was that we ordered an appetizer that didn't come until the same time as the meal. I hate when shrimp warms so I worked on that whole my food got cold. I took it home to heat up leftovers and didn't love the reheated taste. Great decor, friendly to kids, easy off the road parking near a beautiful beach. We would return again if we lived here.
