Shilo Restaurant Newport

Well we love this place but we have never eaten here. Just visited the bar area. Whole place is slow, restaurant and bar but maybe it's the time of day we go. Linda the bartender is super nice and always accommodating. It's in a nice location and I know the views are breathtaking in the daytime.

The place has a beautiful view with lots of seats by the window. It's open from 7-11 and we got there a little after 10 and there were still seats available with ocean view. There was only one waitress that we could see so it took a while for us to get seated and waited on. This is going to be a mixed review, and was difficult to give an exact rating to. First let me say that the absolute highlight of the dinner was our waiter, Calvin. The restaurant was obviously understaffed; but there he was literally running at times to get to all of the tables. He was incredible, and i can only hope he doesnt have to run like that every night.
