This Starbucks is located inside the Newport Fred Meyer. We enjoy having coffee there. One nice thing is you can first go back to the Fred Meyer bakery and purchase cinnamon rolls or scones or donuts and enjoy them with your Starbucks coffee. The Starbucks folks don't mind a bit. Great deal! And afterwards you can pick up any grocery, household or clothing shopping you might need.
This review is for the Starbucks that is located inside of the Fred Meyer grocery store. I don't purchase these drinks very often, so it is a nice treat when I do. I normally order iced tea, but I decided to get one of my favorite frappuccino's.I noticed how hard Tara (the name on my receipt) was working when I approached at the counter. She was the only one working and cleaning at the time. We only had to wait a brief moment while she finished putting a couple things...
They messed up making a half sweet caramel latte. That does not bode well for their abilities. At least for the people that are on staff at midday on Sundays.. . .Edit: The manager gave us a link to the corporate "contact us" page. There's no way to respond to the local Starbucks in Fred Meyer on that page.We did increase the service score to 4 because they were nice. But the 3 is more appropriate for not getting the order right. But it wasn't nice of us to...
