What a find! I own a home in Spain and I know the food well. Zurita is as authentic as it gets, and superior to many good tapas bars on the Med. The croquettes are to die for, as are the gambas al ahillos.

Me and my wife came here for our anniversary with high hopes. We are both seasoned F&B industry veterans so I hate to leave bad reviews but after a 20 minute wait on our glasses of wine let's just say that was the highlight of our meal. We went to Taco Bell afterwards.....

My two meals at this spot were delicious. I tried the watermelon-tomato, green salad, and have added it to my list of favorite summer salads. The pasta with sausage and prawns was pure comfort. Great cocktails and desserts. I came back next day and had mushroom croquettes, glazed carrots with feta, lamb & bean soup, and a smoky mezcal cocktail.

Excellent food, service, and ambiance. Can't wait to try more. The Duck pate was served with marmalade from England. It was exquisite!

Such a beautiful place. The staff were welcoming and genuine, the atmosphere was unhurried, and the food was interesting and comforting. My mother and I split several dishes, and we especially liked the tomato and watermelon salad. The sweet waitress recommended the white wine sangria, and it was a lovely accompaniment to our meal.

This restaurant immediately reminded me of some great tapa places in Spain! The food, the atmosphere, all those nice Spanish wines, including Vermouths and Fino / Sherry. Great European style coffee too... Definitely recommended!

07/07/25 - 1st time at Zurita. 1st time at a Spanish restaurant.
Staff very pleasant, efficient, and helpful.
We were looking for an afternoon snack, so had a variety of small plates.
Food was interesting for us, and excellent. Especially the scallops, bacon wrapped Dates, and the lemon meringue.
If this is authentic Spanish food, we are now fans.
Highly recommended.

A real gem in Newport. Eat out in the green house or inside especially upstairs. You can make a meal out of Tapas and enjoy different types of foods. We like the Lamb skewers a nice change from your average Restaurant.

Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the shrimp and Iberico Jamon. A little pricey but the food was great, the atmosphere whimsical, and the service good. Outside patio is lovely on a nice day.
