Food had no flavor, portions were small and over priced. Staff was less than helpful.

We waited 70 minutes for our entrees. Never a word from the wait staff as we watched other patrons receive and finish their food, some who arrived after we did. When we finally had enough of that we told the server we were leaving. The manager, Roxie, chased us out yelling our food was now ready. We said we weren't interested any longer, so she threatened to get our license no and report us to the police.

One of the best restaurants in the area. Don't go as often as we should.
Food was perfect for the occasion as was the company. View of the North Bay and dunes.

I have lived in the area nearly all my life and through those years I have eaten there many times. I have seen it's ups and downs but never as down as these days. Two years ago they claim to have lost our reservation on Valentines day. How does one lose something written down like that? I tried one more time with a captain's platter type seafood combo. Obviously fresh from the box in the freezer! Ice cold micro waved potato. All in all the entire adventure totally sucked, and only for around 100.00 for two. Nevermore!

Nice dinner with a beautiful sunset view! They were out of a few items (it was the end of the night on a Friday night), but had other acceptable options.

We went to the Hilltop house Restaurant yesterday. And I have to say it did not disappoint. The food was excellent and our waitress Kayla was so attentive and amazing. We will return I had the best time ever.

This restaurant is a cafe for breakfast & lunch. It has excellent sandwiches and from scratch bakery items. I went for both breakfast & returned for lunch. Yes, it was that good!!

Birthday dinner outstanding. Not trendy..more like an elegant meal from a bygone age done to perfection. Stuffed mushrooms with crab topped with real hollandaisr for an appetizer. Followed by a salad with accompanying pickled vegetables, house made..I had seared scallops perfectly done..others had halibut almondine. And crab and artichokes dip. Desserts were a perfect Creme Brulee with a thin crisp glass like caramel that cracked delicately and tasted like heaven along with a sumptuous chocolate mousse for the birthday girl. The SERVICE WAS again perfect and attentive. Absolutely old school fine FINE dining..Chef Jesse outdid himself..as did our server. Thanks all for a wonderful 75th birthday. 👌 WOW 👌

I was so excited to eat here. The fish taste amazing. Unfortunately the lunch cook looked like he was tweeking and cooked a black piece of plastic into my fish. The clam chowder looked more like dirty dish water and taste the same. It was not what you would expect from a restaurant on the beach and as expensive as it was.

We had my birthday dinner at The Hilltop last night and it was quite possibly the best food and dinner I have had in the past two years. EVERYTHING was excellent. The service was friendly and wonderful. Salad, clam chowder, shrimp cocktail and bread were excellent.
I had the sea scallops; excellent! My daughter had the oysters; excellent!
I was given a free chocolate mousse (gigantic with whipped cream) for my birthday as well. Both my daughter and I could hardly finish it.
I knew as soon as we pulled up and there were many many cars, that it would be a great dining experience. People go to places that are good.
Bravo to the Chef(s) for our food. Beyond 5 stars.
Thank you!
Holly

This place is hit & miss. My experience is more miss than hit. I've had to return my steak oscar back to the kitchen 4 times and received attitude from the owner. I mean if you can't cook a steak, take it off your menu don't offer me 10.00 off my 60.00 plate. Even the waitress was embarrassed.

Food was ok, but way over priced. It has a nice view if you sit near the window.
