Saw this cute place after getting my haircut downtown and knew I had to come back to check it out. Then I saw it advertised by someone on IG.
I’m so glad my friends and I went. The food was great. Loved the flavors and quality of the food. We all gave it 4 ⭐️! Sadly they were out of the berry lemonade but that means we will definitely have to go back.
It was nice to have something new to try.
Not a ton of seating but it didn’t feel cramped. Of course it was not full of people in line. Everything was clean including the bathroom.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

My son and I had planned a whole day around going to Ingrid's for his birthday brunch. We checked the website for information on their hours of operation, menu (which looked really good) and any notices. We were VERY excited as I have never been to Ingrid's and it was for my adult son's b-day celebration. We arrived shortly after 9am on Thursday May 9th but the door was locked so we sat in the outdoor area taking in the lovely morning and talking about life in general and what we were going to have to eat. We waited until 10:15 but still no one showed up to open, so we checked the front windows and saw a little note saying that they were closed and would be open Friday. It sure would have been nice to know BEFORE we planned a whole day around going to Ingrid's. It's NOT hard to put a notice up, even a temporary one. My whole family has been in the restaurant business for most of my life and I have never seen this level of callousness from a restaurant/cafe towards their patrons. Would love to recommend this place but sadly their lack of care and attention to letting patrons know BEFOREHAND about closures makes me very wary of just what do they care about?? As it is, I can only suggest you flip a coin and wish you good luck in not only going there when it is actually open, but finding a parking space

This place is INCREDIBLE. If you aren't here on the weekend having brunch, what are you even doing with your life???? We ordered several dishes but I think the favorite of the group was a savory waffle with pork belly, arugula, chèvre, and jalapeño maple syrup. wow wow wow. If I could go here every weekend, I absolutely would.

Food was okay. Portions are very small compared to the prices. It took over 45 minutes for food, and then forgot an item atop of one of our dishes.

I was astounded by the filthiness especially given the positive reviews. The counters, floors, tables, and SILVERWARE were so dirty I was actually embarrassed for the place. Not sure if we just happened to visit on an off day (every business has those days) but it was still unacceptably filthy—my friend and I looked at one another in disbelief that we actually were cleaning our utensils with our paper napkins.. sigh.Food portion was smallish, taste was fine not great, service was friendly & attentive, and cleanliness nonexistent all for a price I wouldn’t pay again. Definitely recommend finding yourself any other place to eat.

I try to stop by Ingrid's any time I'm visiting Portland. The lefse is made fresh and with love. It's just as good as homemade!
Vegetarian options: Try the veggie wrap or traditional wrap with lingonberry jam with a side of cucumber salad.
