Food was delicious. There was a glitch with our order. So, it took somewhere around an hour and a half to get our food. But, the staff made an effort to correct their mistakes. In spite of the wait we had a great meal.

First time to this cart location. The time the Cajun Cart opens is a little confusing but they opened after 1PM on a Friday. My family has long connection with LA cooking so was anxious to try. Had the catfish platter. potato salad and red beans and rice, two hush puppies. Good memories there of my mother in laws cooking. Everything cooked to order and great owner/service. This is not over spiced Cajun food.just right for NW natives. They could probably spice it up if asked? Will go back soon..parking is an issue but know the area and had to walk 2 blocks..

I would recommend the big easy combo if you'd like to try a bit of everything. The hush puppies are phenomenal and the beignets and bread pudding fabulous. It gets pretty busy and usually takes a little longer than the other food carts because they are usually short staffed. I've done take out and though the desserts don't hold up as well as the rest of the meal it's still worth the wait.

this s*** was so nasty, they are definitely not from Louisiana i really hope this recipient changed because i paid 28$ btw for just these two and that's including 3$ tip which was VERY nice of me. I hope nobody eats this place, no flavor no seasoning just chicken and btw it's italian sausage not the strips.

Happy to have some Cajun food in the area! Our food was ready in 10 minutes and there was only one thing we ordered that was disappointing, but everything else was delicious. The Hubs had the shrimp po' boy sammie, which he said was really tasty and a good size, too. Their coleslaw and mustard greens were also top notch, and I especially liked how they chop their mustard greens up into smaller pieces (normally it's served in bigger cuts, but the smaller chop made it much easier to eat, in my opinion). The disappointing dish was the crawfish étoufée, which other than the heat-level of spice (medium spicy), was rather bland. There was a good amount of crawfish in it, though, so that was good. The portion size on the étoufée was pretty big, too. It would be nice if they offered the rice dishes, such as the étoufée, in two sizes.

I was raised in a small town in Texas and had been desperately looking for a place that reminded me of home lately and this was spot on. I ordered the catfish platter with mustard greens and coleslaw and every bite tasted like nostalgia. I asked for extra sauce and they even gave me more than enough with a hand written note . Will be dining here again and forever! Thanks y’all!

Best red beans and rice I have had in a long time. Great sausage po boy. Will be back for sure . Sitting outside at Corner 14, always good.

This five stars review is for the fresh, flaky, crispy, the right amount of sugar powder, and melt-in-your-mouth Elephant Ear any day without waiting for the fair! You need to take your luck and stop by and see if they open since their hours on Yelp are not accurate or current. I did not call the phone listed on Yelp, so I may need to do it next time. My first time there was about three weeks ago during lunch without looking for anything special. Since then, I stopped by between 2-4 pm, and they closed, so I am craving it! I also ordered the beignet and was not impressed since I still tasted the uncooked thick dough. I would order this again before giving my final take on it and other things on their menu.I loved their humor decors; they all made me giggle, looking at and reading them. They are conveniently located at the Corner 14 Food Pod with other carts with limited parking on the pavement area; otherwise, it's gravel underneath a bridge/overpass structure, so drive slowly. There are shaded sitting areas and an electronic fireplace for cold days.

I had the fried shrimp po boy sandwich and an order of 6 hush puppies absolutely disgusting the shrimp and hush puppies seemed like they were fried in old dirty grease that the only flavor I could taste I normally never waste food even if it’s not the best but this is the first time I couldn’t eat it all never going back to that food cart and never going to recommend it

Unfortunately the dough was raw on the inside and the bottoms were soggy with grease. In addition, buyer beware they charge a credit card fee.

Food is good but service is very slow !! It's not worth the wait! If the service was a lot fast, I would recommend this place. The hush puppies might be good for some people but not for me. The appearance of the cart is nice.

Maw Maw's was a great southern experience. Both the food and the host made me feel as though I was in my grandfather's kitchen being fed and entertained as he often did. Great southern hospitality and the most delicious, golden hush puppies (second only to my grandfather), which is no easy task. Definitely recommend a visit and grabbing any menu item with a side of "additional" hush puppies.

The food and service here are always amazing! I love the atmosphere and the care they put into everything! Everytime i have the jambalaya and gumbo, its always fantastic! Expect a long wait, because on nice days there are people lining up all the way around the cart, understand that there are many orders being taken and that the food you'll get is worth it!!

If I could give 2 1/2 stars I would. I’ve had really good food here and I’ve had pretty sub par food and very long wait times. I wish it was more consistent. It seemed better when it was newer I think their slipping now

Our first time here. We had the jambalaya. We don't know what jambalaya is supposed to taste like but expected something more flavorful. Was a chicken and rice dish. Plenty for two to share. The hush puppies were delicious! The mustard greens were our favorite dish of the three. Hot and tasty. Will come back and try more of the sides.
