I eat here all the time for Lunch and Dinner. They make absolutely Amazing Thai food and have excellent customer service! Food doesn’t take longer than 10 minutes but looks and tastes like they spent their time on it. I highly recommend if you want something affordable and quick whether you want to sit and eat or get takeout they offer great service for both. High recommend!!!! 🔥 (let me add they also do a punch card, which will get you free meals over time. Similar to a coffee stand. SO AWESOME!)

i ordered the chicken drunken noodle plate, & it took about 15 mins to come out.
it doesnt look like they spent that much time on it. alot of the noodles were stuck together like they were frozen & thawed, so they didnt get an even coating of the sauce/seasoning etc, & were just bare noodles. there wasnt much of anything else, i think there was less than a drumsticks worth of chicken in the whole plate, there were 3 or 4 slivers of red/green pepper, & 2 slices of cucumber.
most of the bites i took ended up being only clumped together noodles. i think there was maybe 2 leaves of basil & 2 pieces of onion. i see other people mention large portions but i wouldnt call this portion large, maybe for a child. i was still hungry afterward.

this plate costs $15. i mean, you can buy 3 entire rotisserie chickens for $15.
idk if the ownership has changed or what but i used to come here a few years ago & dont remember it being like this. im disappointed.

The Su Thai Food Truck was our 'go to' when my son was an in-patient at OHSU in 2020 . Following his discharge, we continued to frequent the business, after out-patient medical appointments, until the truck was no longer in the area. The food was consistently fresh, healthy, delicious and aesthetically pleasing. Su Thai was something we looked forward to. We were excited to try Su Thai Express for the first time yesterday when we were in Oregon City. Sad to say, our food was extremely disappointing. My Teriyaki Chicken had a rubbery consistency as if it had been cooked and then reheated in a microwave. Thai Basil Fried Rice was overcooked. Granted our food order was 'to go', but the presentation and overall quality of our meals left much to be desired in comparison to what we enjoyed from Su Thai in the past. Maybe we shall give it one more try but, unfortunately, we are both on the fence..

Best thai food I've had so far in the greater Portland area, including Oregon City. Very unique and creative menu and the food was all delicious and super well-balanced. It's one of those places that doesn't look special at all, but once you taste the food you know it is. Service was great, food was even better, and this is definitely my new go-to thai place. Will be coming back.

We ordered pad kee mao, pad see ew, green Thai curry to go. The portion sizes were generous and flavors were ON POINT (coming from a southeast Asian girly). Staff was super friendly.

The food was so fresh and delicious. I had the yakisoba and crab Rangoon appetizer. No take home box needed but I am stuffed! So wonderful and happy. Perfect little place to grab food before or after shopping.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hands down the BEST Thai food in the Portland area!

We’ve been coming to Su Thai Express for quite a while now, and every single visit has been exceptional. We’ve tried over 10 Thai restaurants across the Portland area, and nothing else even comes close—this place is on a whole different level. The food is consistently flavorful, high quality, and made with clear attention to detail!

We always order takeout, and the portions are huge—we end up with plenty of leftovers, which we actually look forward to just as much as the main meal. Their prices are incredibly fair for the amount and quality of food you get. The yellow curry has been our go-to for years and is still the best we’ve ever had. This is one of their best dishes due to its rich, flavorful, satisfying taste! A few other dishes that really stand out here in comparison to the same dishes elsewhere are their Pad Thai, Orange Chicken, Crap Rangoons, Spicy Chicken, and Mango Sticky Rice. We add at least three of our favorites to our order on top of the yellow curry with pineapple every time lol!

The customer service is always great—friendly, fast, and professional. The owner is generous, polite, and clearly passionate about the food and the experience. Even before they reopened, I was a loyal customer, and somehow they’ve gotten even better since.

My boyfriend is an executive chef and extremely particular when it comes to food—he’s been told by many in the industry that he’s the best chef they’ve worked with. He raves about Su Thai too, and that says a lot. We’ve tried at least half the menu by now and haven’t had a single complaint.

They recently received the “Best of Oregon City 2025” certificate, as you will see it hung up inside their restaurant, and honestly, it’s so well-deserved. This is a gem of a place tucked right off I-205. The dine-in ambiance isn’t anything fancy, but we always do takeout and are more than happy with that. Su Thai Express is a true hidden treasure—we’re lucky to have it nearby!

Pad Thai chicken was nothing to write home about. Noodles were overdone a chopped to pieces. Four - 2 inch lengths of green onions and what tasted like a powdered mix of flavoring made it not remarkable for me. I had just ordered to-go and asked to use the bathroom and the old gentleman basically asked if I was a customer, which I had to remind him of my order, before he pointed the way to the lavatory. All in all, my experience and food was all mediocre.

Best Thai food I have had in the Portland, Oregon area. Lemon grass chicken and pumpkin curry are two favorites. Only complaint is that the building heating system is not working at the moment but they have space heaters to help.

Solid Thai tea. They also give you bigger cups than the other Thai restaurants in the area.
