“One of the best, most eclectic places to get a bite to eat and enjoy a wide variety of live music. You never know what you'll hear...blues...rock...Celtic dance... improve!!Food is generally really good...but when the place is crazy busy it can take a while and perhaps not quite as good...5 stars normally...4 1/2 on a busy night. If you play an instrument...ask to play any of the available choices...guitars...drums...have fun.Lots of parking. The outdoor patio area is great on a warm night. We drive down from Bandon for the music. Best place on the coast in my humble opinion. Port Orford is a little eccentric so occasionally a crazy or two but always friendly and inclusive atmosphere...“
“Stopped by on our way back to California. This is a very small cafe with a snack shop next to it. Very minimalist decoration. Bathrooms were clean! We have 11 people, but they do not have a big table that can fit all of us. We occupied 2 tables instead. I ordered Eggs Benedict, which comes with hash brown, ham, and English muffin. Portion was huge.I could not finish the entire breakfast. Hash brown was blended, and not crispy enough. I added salt and pepper to it, but still did not have much flavor to it. Service was fast, and server was friendly. Will be back again.“
“As you enter this charming restaurant, you're greeted with a cozy atmosphere and staff that create an unforgettable dining experience that feels both intimate and welcoming. The menu is focused and authentic. Delicious homemade focaccia bread is served prior to your meal and sets the scene for the appetizers and main course (not to mention wonderful homemade desserts). Cafe Gemma is a top-notch dining experience.Whether you're a local looking for a taste of Italy or a visitor seeking a memorable dining experience in Port Orford, Cafe Gemma is a must-visit destination that promises to exceed your expectations. Reservations are recommended as the dining room is relatively small and the restaurant is popular.“
