Closed their business out of nowhere and refused to pay back deposits for wedding catering customers. They need to be investigated.
We booked this company for our wedding - they went out of business without notice & spent our deposit. Now they are stating that there are no signs of reopening but they will “keep us updated.” They should have never taken our deposit if they had any signs of closing doors. Horrible way of handling this situation and have created so much stress for many couples

This company is absolute trash. They scammed 20+ brides and took our money and ran with it. Disgusting and unethical people. Now they are deleting comments on their facebook/instagram posts to make it seem like the backlash isn’t as bad. Can’t wait to watch you guys burn in legal lawsuits!

We had them booked for our wedding and they went out of business. The only person who gave us a heads up was Rodrigo and we really appreciate him. We've called and emailed and no response. They said no refunds but we were able to contact our bank and send over the contract and emails. We wish them the best, but just wish there was better communication. We'd give Rodrigo 5 stars, but the owner 1 star.

Company has a terrible way of conducting business. Signed contracts, deposits, all disregarded by the owners. Booked for my wedding and the company went out of business. The owners are unable to refund deposits and will not respond to any communication requests. Dishonest and distasteful.

I wasn’t a fan of their special at the time, Lemon Colada S’mores. Maybe I should’ve just ordered their original options. The S’more Mocha was good. It’s a cute little shop but I don’t think it’s worth returning as a tourist.

The best s'mores ever. These are not even in the same realm as a smore you would make during camping. This is quality, delicious dessert!

My husband fell in love with his s’more. No seating though, take away only!

Soooooooooo good!!! I honestly never expected s’mores could taste like this! They make their own marshmallows and toast them to perfection, yielding an end result that has a little char on the outside and is wonderfully gooey & melty on the inside. Word to the wise: this will quite possibly be the messiest dessert you will ever eat, but it’s definitely worth it. Make sure you grab at least 2 wet naps and open them up BEFORE you start eating. Trust me, opening the wet naps is really tough once you have marshmallow on your fingers! Also, for the ladies, if you’re eating outside on a windy day, you’ll want to make sure your hair is in a ponytail. That said, the mess is totally worth it! I will be thinking about this dessert for a long time.

If I’m being honest, I’ve made better s’mores in the microwave. I was extremely disappointed when I took my first bite and the marshmallow was burnt on the outside and still firm on the inside. There was no oooey-gooey ness to it like you’d get from a traditional s’more. The price is $6 for the original s’more and the only thing “special” about it is that they have a biscoff cookies instead of a traditional graham cracker. I would say overall the workers were awesome and the atmosphere was great! Definitely a place you try once and don’t need to go to again!

Only in Portland could you pitch a premise as absurd as a confectioner specializing in s'mores, and only s'mores, and have it actually be successful!
This quirky, blink-and-you'll-miss-it, hole-in-the-wall marshmallow mercantile wouldn't feel out of place in a popular state park like Fort Stevens or Camp Sherman, but stumbling across it at random on a walk through downtown will definitely cause a few double-takes. It's the sort of "don't-believe-it-until-you-see-it" (or taste it!) dessert destination that warrants further investigation, and my wife and daughter were up to the task!
Some people might scoff at a $7 s'more, but after having one, you'll be asking for s'more, so don't start grinding your graham crackers until you've tucked in to one of these toasted towers of gooey gelatinous goodness, garnished with ganache (and also coconut, even if it ruins my alliterative allusion), also known as the Pacific Crest. Personally, even just looking at one of these carb-and-calorie confectionary concoctions contains enough sugar to last me for a year, so I can only speak from second-hand experience, but given the rapturous expressions and squeals of excitement from each of them, I'd say that the two of them were more than satisfied!
For the price, this will never be more than an occasional treat, but for what it's worth, 1927 S'Mores Company does something that no one else is doing, which is praiseworthy enough. And judging by the lines and the reactions (online and in-person), I'd say they've managed to find themselves a niche that feels right at home in the camping-friendly PNW. They've certainly captured our vibe, our imaginations, and our penchant for peculiar pastries. Sure, everyone knows how to make a s'more, but few of us do it this well...and without burning our marshmallows to a crisp!

It’s a cute little spot, definitely unique and fun. I got the OG and it didn’t quite hit like a classic honey maid graham cracker+Hersheys+marshmallow at home. I was surprised. It didn’t wow me for the price point.
Should you go? Yes. Is it cute? Yes. Is it a fancy smore? Yes. Do I prefer the ones I make at home? Also yes.
