Acropolis Steakhouse

I love this place. I popped in for a casual Sunday afternoon lunch / lap dance and enjoyed the food, the company, the conversation, and the music thoroughly. The Acropolis is such a unique and beautiful place and they hire the most wonderful people.

Acropolis is there when you need them. After a bender week of partying from Sunday to Sunday, I did not feel like cooking and wanted a greasy burger (or gyro in my case), this place hits the spot. Decent size, cooked well, but fries are additional

I ubered here so stoked to experience THE Acropolis, and your hours are wrong on Google. Yall owe me a dance for this wasted money on uber ride 😭😭😭 (still five stars because I’m an empath)

The food was good but charging $5 cover on a Sunday when there is only 1 other person there is ridiculous. The food was definitely good and entertainers were 2. The service took forever and was long drawn out I was tipping 2 bucks a song but was scolded by the bartender for not tipping. I don't think I ll be coming back. There are so many other clubs where this is not a problem.

The Acropolis is regarded as one of the 7 wonders of the world, which is correct. This place rules.

It's been years since i've been there because we left oregon I wish they would bottle their dipping sauce for their steak Bites and sale it I used to would get and pay for an extra cup of it. Because it's so good. Just an idea cause then I'll have my son. Pick me up some and mail it to me. Or I'll buy a bunch when I come up to visit next time to Oregon.

With the closure of Riverside Corral back in June 2023, Acropolis became the only strip club and the Sellwood area. So naturally, I sought them out as a new Riverside.

I first visited back in October 2024, on a Sunday before going to the haunted house attraction at Oaks park. The $5 admission was a good deal, and I had no problem making myself at home and watching a chick with snake tattoos perform. Plus, the bartender was attentive with my soda water needs.

I went back a couple more times that following november. During my second visit, I ordered the chicken steak. It came with two pieces of Texas toast, some large cut french fries, and a roll. The food was surprisingly tasty, though I was put off by how the roll was slightly burned.

During my third visit, I bought a one song lap dance from Ricki, who was a sweetheart.

My most recent visit was back in February for Valentine's Day weekend. There was a different bartender, Michelle, who was tending to the bar. She was friendly and helpful, and made me feel at home. It was during this visit that I ordered the turkey club sandwich, which I found to be much better than the chicken steak.

I noticed that dancers will sometimes perform to considerably long songs, which compels me to tip them more than the usual club rate. Not only that, but I've noticed, at least during my fourth visit, that dancers perform to a mix of '70s,'80s, and/or '90s songs. That is a prominent plus in my book.

I am confident that Acropolis is like a new Riverside Corral for me. My only complaint was the restroom. During all my visits, it was a disaster zone and needed some major renovation. Or at the very least, some major cleaning plus repairing the broken urinal. Hence the four-star rating instead of five.

Whenever I go to Sellwood, I will have two attractions in mind: Oaks Park and Acropolis.

Is it really a steakhouse? I heard that in Portland if you're going to have all nudity then you need to serve food and have gambling. Not sure if this is true. Can't beat the $5 steak and potato though. Portland is a very interesting place. I visited before it went caput.

I don't know if I would call this place a steak restaurant that happens to have beautiful naked women wandering around, or a strip club that happens to have really good food. It turns out that both are true!

I had the Acrop Special (a perfectly cooked sirloin steak and fries), lots of eye candy for dessert, and some interesting conversations to boot! All in all, a great evening!

This food looks like trash

Only reason I’m writing this is because my friend who has spent much more time in strip clubs than me told me he’s never heard of a situation like this happening. I received a dance from Rainn (personally would avoid so this doesn’t happen to you) and it seemed like we hit it off well enough. There was flirting and some more personal conversation outside of just dirty talk. We seemed to like each others vibes and held a longer conversation.

I understand the profession, it’s the oldest in America, however this tactic I’m about to describe seems borderline like extortion. I had left to grab some camping supplies and was to return to watch the dancers last couple of sets. However, when j tried to enter. I was told I was no longer allowed in. The door man didn’t want to tell me at first, which in my mind is some validation that the claim was extremely baseless, that I was soliciting favors from the dancer after the club hours. Granted yes, we had talked about seeing each other, and she even said that she was interested (obviously not lol) so in my logical thought process, I have no clue how that is solicitation. A few legal definitions I’ve seen for solicitation make it quite clear there needs to be an offer of goods, money, or valuables in exchange for service. I offered her a bag of chocolates she liked lol, guess that’s prostitution.

Lastly, and this is my basis for how extremely BS this claim was, they said I could come back a different day… with the same dancer at the establishment???? If it truly was an issue of safety for the dancer, wouldn’t it make sense to have me permanently removed from the property? In my head, this almost assures me that this was her, their, whoever’s way of finally saying she wasn’t interested. Therefore, it was a blatant lie that she was in order to garner more interest, make more money, so on so forth. This, in my opinion, is a disgusting business practice. I knew morals were a pretty low floor at these types of places, but man it’s an extra couple levels down.

Was over charged and pretty sure they tip themselves watch out guys check your receipts
