Popped into Rockwood Market Hall after a long walk and decided to try something new, I'm very glad I did. The plate I had from Alleamin African Kitchen, tucked into the back corner of the main dining area, was some of the best food I've had in a very long time. Finally gave this place a visit and I'm mad we didnt go sooner! Absolutely delicious flavors and spices. The lamb shank was huge, the Somalian bread was to die for wnd dont even get me started about those sambusas 🤤 I recommend their lamb and rice as well. To top it all off the service was amazing, this is a place that deserves all the support.

Kahadro for the delicious Lamb Chops. The wait was worth it! The lamb chops were cooked to perfection and the Rice and salad were a nice touch. Caution with the green sauce it is spicy. This is our first time in Portland Oregon and with this being the first meal of the day, I am blown away! Thank you!
