I really like this store most of the time. Really New Seasons cannot compare because of even higher prices and way more GMO food. Avoid pre made and overly packaged food, Buy organic low on the food chain, buy seasonal for the best value and learn to cook. Yes they are expensive but so is commercial GMO food if you calculate external costs. I vote with currency.
I would happily give Whole Foods four stars if it weren't for the requirement that you need to be a member of Amazon Prime to take advantage of the store's weekly sales items. Whole Foods drops the overt connection with Amazon and simply calls their specials "Prime Member Weekly Deals." Some of them are pretty great, attractive enough to lure customers into the store. Whole Foods Market such a contradiction. When you walk in the store you feel a certain goodness because everything is healthy, environmentally conscious, and natural.
