We had a pre-theater meal here and so enjoyed it. They have a well-crafted menu with refined Balkan tapas well suited to sharing. Sophisticated interior, great for date night. We enjoyed lamb shank, eggplant, branzino, and a selection of dips and bread. Lovely Croatian red wine to go with. We will definitely be back! Such a nice addition to the area.
Delicious food, cocktails, and great service. Ambiance was lovely as well. Our party of 6 had a great time catching up here and trying the majority of the menu, which was packed with flavor while remaining balanced. Don’t skip the branzino and lamb shank.
Alma was all-around a great experience. Reservations were easy for us - we were able to secure a table the day before for a Saturday night. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly.
The waitstaff was outstanding. More Portland restaurants could stand to take cues from their service structure, hospitable attitude, and amicability. Our server took time to go over the menu with us and point out some worthwhile choices.
