This is what a real restaurant should like look like .10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND )it feels like I'm back home and not to flashy but very professional. The food was delicious and very well seasoned.
The mango juice was refreshing!
I had the whole fish 🐟which was crispy and tasty with the side of rice and vegetables.

On top of that the atmosphere is very relaxing and we will definitely be going back soon πŸ”œ
God bless you guys πŸ™πŸΏ

Sure it's a little hole in the wall but the service and incredible home cooked meals far outweigh any lack of atmosphere. I'm sure everything is great but I just keep ordering the goat because it's one of my favorite meals in Portland. And don't sleep on that Somali green hot sauce. Incredibly kind people and awesome food. 5 stars all the way!

The gentleman who works here is so nice! He was so happy and outgoing- true Ray of sunshine to your day. The goat with basmati rice was delicious and would highly recommend. This was my first experience eating Somalian food and really enjoyed it.

This is the second time I have ordered from this place, in every sense of the word, wow, the food is delicious and clean, as if it was made by a family. I highly recommend it. Thank you, my heroic friends.

Maria was wonderful. They were swamped with Ramadan orders and she still took a few moments to welcome us as first time visitors, and even gave us a plate of appetizers while we waited for or meals.
The food was absolutely delish, affordable, and there was SO much of it! Our 2 orders could have fed 4 easily (and the leftovers were so good the next day).
There were a few tables to sit down and eat, but it seems like they might do mainly to-go business.
This reminded me of some the small family run deli style restaurant in Mexico, Thailand and Hong Kong.
The menu is different than you will find online, I had the beef with veg and sticky cornmeal, he had lamb shank and chicken with rice.
We will for sure be going back!

Just noticed this place and had to try it out WOW. Incredibly great food. Family operated, and really nice folks. The building may be.a little older but the food the family and the experience is wonderful. . For me it's in the top 3 African/Ethiopian places I've eaten at here in the PDX metro area.πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
