I can't believe it took me so long to try this place. This is an absolute Portland gem. The bahn mi are PERFECTION - loaded with meat and SO fresh, and only $7. Everything is absolutely perfect. I hope this place endures for all eternity.

A small bakery that does sandwiches and various other odds and ends, as well.
They have black and white cookies miles ahead of the typical ones available at places such as Trader Joe's and Kroger stores. The ones at An Xuyên are baked with a chocolate base (cakesque) cookie, which I personally prefer.
The prices are very competitive!
The baguette of the banh mi was ideal, a crisp crunchy outer layer with a soft interior. The ingredients exuded freshness.
The person running the spot was kind and efficient.

Their desserts and pastries are the best! I've tried the raspberry pistachio tart, the matcha cake, their cream puffs, and cake pops. All of them taste amazing and flavorful. However I do advise you to order a bitter drink to even out the sweetness, because the sweetness can be overwhelming!

Prices for the Bahn Mi sandwiches are fair for size and flavor. The cinnamon rolls are made with like a buttercream, which is right up to par with my preference, not overly sweet. The amount of cream varies batch to batch and one batch I got didn’t have enough. There where better options though, I was just in a rush. Overall the service is fast even with long lines. Service is professional and kind. Quality across the board in everything they do. Prices are fair for just about everything and its all fresh.

Will never come back again. I drove 1hour to come pick up a large cake I’ve ordered and come to realize it was almost 5 times smaller than the large one I’ve ordered before, when I questioned them why they just said they didn’t profit much from the big cake. I took the cake home and tried to slice into it thinking I’d get a fresh durian cake, but only to find out it was frozen? I called to make a complaint and I was just told that they accidentally placed it in the freezer and will give me a discount on my next purchase and simply just told me to wait till evening so it’ll thaw itself. If I wanted to get a cake like that I would’ve bought from a grocery store instead for that price. They took no responsibility and I will never be coming back. These people are scammers. None of you should come here.
