One of Hawthorne's OG no-frills dive bars. They've got beer, wine and liquor. Pinball, pool and terrible carpets. Worth crawling into for a few once in a while. The food comes from the greek spot next door which is actually pretty good!
I was surprised to find this place had Greek food; turns out it's the same as Angelos burgers. I tried the Souvlaki (lamb, bell pepper, and onion skewers) with beet salad and Tzatziki on the side, to go. Everything tasted better with the dip. The lamb was a little tough to chew, but tasty. I have a sensitive stomach, so I'm very happy that it went down fine. Will take it to go again; Don't like the music/bar vibe.
