The staff were outwardly friendly to us but were screaming at one another and threatening eachother. Two breakfast burritos and two coffees took an hour to get. Food isn't worth the wait.

The Mediterranean and the Indonesian scrambles were yummy. Super smoothie helped to cool the palate after the zesty Indonesian sauce. The waiter was fun, attentive and a nice guy. Highly recommend this place for breakfast. A blessing to this community.

Hands down best breakfast and coffee! We got the Mediterranean scramble and croissant breakfast. The scramble had amazing flavors. We did 2 Dickies specials (surprise coffee drinks) and they didn’t disappoint.

A super cute little cafe that perfectly shows off your classic Portland coffee stop. Friendly staff, quirky art and furniture, and a menu perfect for a health nut. The coffee was fresh and tasty. The food was delicious and filling. I would return here again. The only reason I gave them a 4/5 stars is because I felt the price was a bit higher than average for the amount of food you get. (I ordered the Croissant egg/bacon/avocado special, and it was wonderful, however it was roughly $20 for an 8oz coffee and the breakfast sandwich)Vegetarian options: Lots of smoothies and pastries that would be vegetarianParking: It's a small and tough location to get to if you're driving. Walking there from the hospital was easy enough.Wheelchair accessibility: Not a good option for someone in a wheelchair, small doorways and stairs to enter.

My first visit back since the late 90’s and wasn’t what I remembered. It was very cold and dingy, the coffee was bitter, and the food was so-so. It was my memories that brought me back to a place I no longer know! ?

Great food and drinks. Love their smoothies. I however can't figure out why they always keep the front door open even in the dead of winter. I guess it keeps people moving in and out. And tweakers won't want to warm up in

28$ for 2 costco-ish croissants and 1 drip coffee. WAY overpriced. It took 30 minutes to get the croissants toasted because there was only one person working. It was 40 degrees and they had the door propped open, so it was freezing inside, not very welcoming. This place used to be great but like so many other places they've gotten greedy and overcharge for everything.

Walking in to Anna Bananas I was hit with the smell of damp must. I looked around and saw old furniture and heavily stained carpets that needed to be ripped up years ago. The kitchen was tiny with makeshift counters and food stacked all around what seemed to once be a closet or small bathroom in the house. The aesthetic is this old house meets hippie van which has the potential to work and even feel like old Portland but the lack of cleanliness stole the nostalgic charm.Food was a mix of conventional and scratch. Presentation was great but again the cleanliness of the space made me feel sus when eating.Staff seemed friendly and softened the ick vibes a bit just by being chill and helpful. I tried to picture myself in an old Portland institution just vibing with the dinge but I couldn't even stay long before the mold smell started to turn my stomach. For the love of safety - please pull up that carpet before someone gets really sick like an employee or regular customer that is in there all of the time.

My fiance and I found this place while looking for new breakfast spots. We loved all the local artwork hanging up and got a big kick out of the animal hybrids. The egg sandwich and south of the border scramble were to die for! The flavors were so bright and the veggies were super refreshing. Can't wait to try the French toast waffle!!
