raven made me an amazing veggie and egg breakfast sammie, with both red and green pestos... oh my goodness, YUM!
I had never heard about them until I heard they were closing. My nick name as a kid was Anna Bannana as a kid so I wanted to visit before they closed. Metba friend there for a Mocha
Wonderful place to visit for good food and great coffee. Very nice staff and fantastic selection of food and drinks at various prices for affordability and enjoyment.
Great healthy food, love the atmosphere.
This is a nice cozy coffee shop with amazing drinkings. I don't mind driving from downtown Portland to St. John's to go hiking nearby if I know that I'm getting Anna Bananas.
Friendly staff and super good coffee and food.
The decor is, well, like an eclectic living room from the early 1960's. Furnishings are comfortable and familiar. Nothing matches and everything blends. I keep going in and trying different chairs and tables and everything is comfortable, clean and easygoing. The black coffee is smooth and not overheated. Not bitter. The brownies are home baked and hand wrapped. Definitely a place haunted by the spirits of hippies who once passed through on their way back south. Prices are reasonable.
Great food. Eggs are oddly cooked by a coffee machine though. About half of the employees are great and the others are very... Portland in the area of kindness. The lox bagel is top notch, the cold brew and hand pies should also be tried if you enjoy those items. I love the atmosphere and almost always accidentally hear a very entertaining interaction between patrons or a patron and an employee.
This has to be one of the best spots in Portland. The breakfast is off the hook, the service is incredible, the location is in an awesome part of historic Portland. I would recommend Anna Bannanas again and again. 10/10
Great food. Decent price. Comfy seating. Private room if you need meetings or other. Children's play area.

Great launch pad to start your day - wonderful staff, great coffee/food thats reasonably priced and variable environments/rooms in different sections of the facility that fit a multitude of needs to ensure you're prepared and ready for the daily grind...
Eclectic, free form open Mic. The drive there on a sunny day is worth the trip. I will be going back.
