The Garrison is a compact, cozy little corner bar that shares an outdoor patio with an amazingly aromatic Italian joint that we have yet to try (but will soon!). Wonderful space to enjoy cocktails in the St. John's downtown area. They don't serve food here but they partner with the restaurants around the area so you can order and enjoy in their space. For a lighter meal I enjoy the Gilmet but the staff here is really awesome and can give you their reccommendations too.

It's not easy being a cocktail bar in downtown at John's surrounded by very popular dive bars. But the garrison pulls it off. It's nice to be able to sit down and drink a cocktail on a patio or in air conditioning and take a break from the St. John's binge drinking lol.
