Had the Autentico and Classico. Both were rich and flavorful without being sloppy, salty, or greasy. The relleno in the Classico were perfectly picked, you could taste them through everything else on the burrito. This is my new favorite relleno burrito. Tortillas were great, soft but sturdy enough to avoid that last-bite collapse. Service was fast. I look forward to trying more of their menu.

Ordered 2 chicken burritos and chips with salsa. The chips were a little stale, but the pico de gallo was good. My husband noticed the chicken burrito had a bad smell, almost like fish or seafood. I took two bites when I noticed the same smell and could not get myself to finish the burrito. Not sure if our order was heated immediately after an item with seafood ingredients, or if the chicken burrito itself was not safe to eat.
I went back to the cart to order something new and waited about 5 minutes with no acknowledgment from the person working and I was the only one waiting at the window, so I decided to get something from another cart instead. My husband finished the burrito and unfortunately was vomiting the next morning.

Quite possibly the rudest food cart worker I’ve ever encountered in Portland. He tried to ignore me at first at the window and got offended when I asked if they were open. I should’ve just walked away then but really wanted tacos so I ordered some and it was pretty bad. I ended up throwing away the others and driving to my normal spot instead, where they are always quality and happy for your business.
Don’t waste your time with this place.

The food is really good. The vibes are really good. The younger guy the works here has ignored me standing at the window the last two times I have tried to order. I’ve been here dozens of times, and the service has always been great. For some reason this dude is always on the phone, shuffling around not acknowledging customers.
Maybe I’m a ghost?
I have no problems with this food cart otherwise.

It's good when it's good. Just very inconsistent meat quality. I'd recommend the breakfast burritos

Had the Al pastor and chili verde tacos. Why aren’t they served with a lime? Al pastor was ok but had no pineapple and wasn’t anything to write home about. The chili verde was plain nasty, seemed like it had been boiled, had no sign of green salsa, was dry, and the two of us that got it both had a mouthful of fat. Neither of us finished our tacos which says something. Major disappointment and not coming here again.

Just ok...the meat for the carne asada and tacos al pastor where bland. You do get a nice portion so maybe I just went on an off day. Not worth it to go ahead since there are so many other places to eat at and charging $6 for chips and salsa is absolutely ridiculous.

Tucked away in a cozy corner of a cart pod off Powell Blvd, Azul Tequila Taqueria offers a taste of authentic Mexican cuisine. On my recent visit, I indulged in their carnitas tacos, and I must say, the pork was a true highlight. Tender and bursting with flavor, though a tad on the greasy side, it delivered a satisfying punch. Topped with fresh cilantro and onions, each bite offered a delicious burst of authenticity. While the corn tortillas provided a sturdy base, a bit more time on the flat top would have elevated them to perfection, infusing that coveted charred flavor. However, the accompanying green sauce stole the show, striking a perfect balance of mild heat, tang, and pepperiness. It provided a delightful extra layer of flavor that complemented the tacos beautifully.Overall, Azul Tequila Taqueria offers a delightful culinary experience, with room for a few minor tweaks to reach perfection. If you're craving authentic Mexican fare with a cozy atmosphere, this spot is worth a visit.

Green stuff floating in horchata. Was a huge waste of our money and time and dude was rude

Ordered a bean and cheese burrito, they charged me $13 which is the same price as all their fully loaded meat burritos. I get home and bite into it and it’s basically all rice inside with a bunch of random vegetables and unmelted cheese. Never again. I didn’t even eat it and I feel like I got robbed.
