I love Mexican food so I always try out random carts and places I see on a whim. Wish I would've checked the reviews on this place. The young man at the counter (who I'm seeing everyone in the reviews also has had negative experiences with) looked at me dead in the eyes for about 10 seconds and then slammed his knife down on the cutting board when I was trying to order something. I should've just left, but I ordered and gave a nice tip thinking that would dissuade him from spitting in my food (even though all I've done thus far is try to order).

I get my food, (not my horchata though, had to ask for that) and the burrito I received was practically inedible. Incredibly salty steak, tasteless rice and guacamole sauce made with rotting avocados. Avoid this place at all costs.

Came here twice , the first time there was an elder man who was quiet but was nice and took my order . Food was good so I wanted to come back again hoping to have found my go to Mexican food cart .
My second visit is why I’m giving it a 2 star I sat there for about 10 minutes waiting for someone. The sign said open I assumed maybe he stepped out for a break or something . At first I shouted “hello” to see if anyone is there with no response, 5 minutes later ended up calling the number and heard someone’s cell phone go off and out of the very corner a young kid came up to answer phone . I told him that’s just me but he did not respond to me he kept trying to answer the cell phone. He went right back to the corner and ignored me and again I asked him”hello” and “are you open?” The kid gives me the blankest stare like he did not care at all and just said “what will you order”

I asked again “are you open?” And again he said “what will you order” from this point on I waited almost 20 minutes my lunch break is already almost over so I just gave up on this place. The kid had no interest in serving anyone so I didn’t want to waste any more of my time or apparently his .

Food from the first time was pretty good but what I’m seeing from other reviews with similar problems the service could be better.

Don’t hire kids (related or not) if they don’t want to be there .

This has got to be the BEST taco truck in the PDX area. I always get their tacos al pastor, im never disappointed.

Food is ok but the guy that works here is miserable. The last time we tried this cart we were left standing at the window for 20 minutes and he never acknowledged us. We kept waiting bc of the sunken cost fallacy, surely if we waited 5 more minutes he would say something? Etc. Never giving this guy another dime. Before this I always tipped him well and was nothing but kind.

Recently I stood there for 5-10 minutes and the guy was right behind the counter doing food prep. He didn’t look at me or say anything to me. After a while I asked if they were open and he just said “I don’t know, check the sign.” Pretty rude. Other visits the food was very average.

Chips and guacamole were great. Shrimp burrito was WAY too salty. Side order was missing and no salsa included with delivery order.

Food was ok, although burrito was not wrapped properly. The primary reason for this review is the terrible attitude of the guy working the food cart. He was in the back ignoring me for more than 5 minutes. He doesn’t say anything, just takes your money. I would not recommend this place.

There was actual tequila in the rice! The food was delicious but the side of rice smelled of tequila. I ate it anyway, and became inebriated. (I've been sober for several years).

Constantly closed even during their business hours. Online orders frequently cancelled for no apparent reason.

Had the Autentico and Classico. Both were rich and flavorful without being sloppy, salty, or greasy. The relleno in the Classico were perfectly picked, you could taste them through everything else on the burrito. This is my new favorite relleno burrito. Tortillas were great, soft but sturdy enough to avoid that last-bite collapse. Service was fast. I look forward to trying more of their menu.

Ordered 2 chicken burritos and chips with salsa. The chips were a little stale, but the pico de gallo was good. My husband noticed the chicken burrito had a bad smell, almost like fish or seafood. I took two bites when I noticed the same smell and could not get myself to finish the burrito. Not sure if our order was heated immediately after an item with seafood ingredients, or if the chicken burrito itself was not safe to eat.

I went back to the cart to order something new and waited about 5 minutes with no acknowledgment from the person working and I was the only one waiting at the window, so I decided to get something from another cart instead. My husband finished the burrito and unfortunately was vomiting the next morning.

Quite possibly the rudest food cart worker I’ve ever encountered in Portland. He tried to ignore me at first at the window and got offended when I asked if they were open. I should’ve just walked away then but really wanted tacos so I ordered some and it was pretty bad. I ended up throwing away the others and driving to my normal spot instead, where they are always quality and happy for your business.

Don’t waste your time with this place.
