The Chana (chickpeas, potatoes, peas, and rice) was slightly spicy, so I preferred the Dahl (yellow split peas and rice), which was also flavorful, but mild. Both were served with pepper sauce.
Absolutely delightful staff, and food. Wow.

Chicken & Potato Curry from Baked On The Run Guyanese food cart and a Ruse Brewing Similar Science Hazy IPA. First time trying Guyanese food. Mimi, the owner was very friendly and gave me lots of samples! It was delicious!

Everybody has to try this. I don’t like peas but their Dhal was just delicious. The different spices used, the way it was cooked - absolutely amazing. I’ve never tried Guyanese cuisine before but am glad that this was where I first tried it because it was just such a positive experience.
We got an order of the Potato Chicken Curry - the chicken was so tender and so tasty. Also an order of In a Bake Chana Aloo and for dessert In a Bake Nutella. I don’t have enough words to describe just how yummy everything was. Will definitely come back and tell others to visit too.

We went on a slow day and the owner gave us samples of everything to try, it was amazing!! I am GF and I went with the Dahl, it’s savory with pepper and garlic deliciousness. I look forward to going back on a cool gray day to enjoy this bomb soul-warming food.
My family was super impressed with the vegan and GF options here.
Dietary restrictions: Great GF and vegan options!

What a great surprise. The food cart scene can be both daunting and repetitive. While standing in front of the cart of origins I am quite unfamiliar with, the owner offered us a little sample of his food, which in it's self is unusual, but what really got us was how original the flavors were. I took the plunge and ordered the salfish bake. My first thought was that this was not going to fill me up, but I was very wrong. This savory dish was fun to eat, and really hit the spot. There was a tiny sauce that came with it that looks like Italian dressing, but don't be deceived, its spicy turned up to an 8. Perfect in moderation over the super savory salfish. If you're tired of burritos, you should try something new and creative. I will absolutely be going back to Bake On The Run.
Vegetarian options: Like most food not originating in North America, there are always plenty of vegetarian options. If you're a pescetarian it opens up a few more options.
Dietary restrictions: The first question the owner asked is do we have any dietary restrictions. That's the first time I've experienced that at a food cart, I think that says a lot about the care and concern the owner has for his customers.
Wheelchair accessibility: This food Cart pod is fully paved from the sidewalk to everywhere inside. The seating is all picnic benches, which allows a wheelchair to occupy an end space and the bench can be used by those not sporting wheels.
